Mere bike me toh instant reading change ho jaata hai; 1 litre se kam bharwane se reading change hoga ki nahi, no idea but aajkal log minimum 1 litre hi dalwate hai... So, I think it depends on manufacturer parts quality...

I don't know about bikes, in my car when petrol is low and if I pump for 1000 petrol, it will not reflect in meter reading bar. After I drive 2 kms, I can see the bar increasing. The sensor does work immediately. However if pump for 3500 petrol, I can see the bar raising when I start the car

Very good idea. I don't know if there is any technical reason behind it. Even here in USA, we have black or green pipe. We don't see any petrol coming to our car. Just found out the reason: Risk of Static Electricity. Please google it, long explanation

Happened with me few years ago. I asked the person to fill up the tank. He complied with my request. The meter showed 14 litres were filled. I also noticed my tank was filled to the brim. Paid the amount amount and returned home. Now, comes the interesting point. My bike went on reserve about 15-20 km away before reaching the petrol pump. As it's a Honda unicorn 150. The milage according to Honda should be around 55-60! As it's an old motorcycle I presume the milage could be around 50! The reserve as per the company is 2 litre. Which means, about 1.5 litre should be in reserve as I was driving on highway. After returning home I became suspicious about the quantity and checked the literature provided by the company. It showed, the tank has 13 litre capacity. I didn't ask for a receipt for which couldn't challenge the petrol pump. As a result got cheated by 2 to 2.5 litres. Couldn't bring it to the notice of the authority because I had no receipt

Bhai, jo gaadi k manual me tank ki fuel capacity likhi hoti hai actual me usse jyada fuel aa skta hai tank me , kyoki company wale reserve me jo fuel hota hai usse neglect krke tank ki fuel capacity likhte hai, aur haa tank kabhi bhi upar take full nhi krana chahiye to usss spare space ka volume bhi neglect krke hi tank ki fuel capacity manual me likhi hoti hai. Means tumhare saath fraud nhi hua tha.
