    Hey Fker... Awesome Video! I have a 2024 Peterbuilt. Still new truck smell. Question where do the wires go from the Ambient Air Temperature sensor to... Where? This crazy Fker is reading from -40° to 100° and is going up and down constantly. When it goes to -40° the AC doesn't work only heat. Or it just shows --- and then it all works. It's a pain in the ass. Any advice would be grateful.

    Just had to fix mine wiring in door harness in jam was worn. Question after cutting and patching does the sensor need to be reset or calibrated cause I noticed mine reads about 10 degrees higher then normal

  • @waynenorbreyjr9371
    @waynenorbreyjr93715 жыл бұрын

    Yep! I noticed that there was no reading of the outside temperature and without the truck detecting the outside temperature from my understanding that it causes the truck to not run correctly and burn the fuel properly cause it detects the outside temperature and adjusts to it. That's from what the mechanic had said to me. Had the same problem with my truck.

    Use a bic lighter after you light your smoke to heat the wiresfor a couple of seconds and pull the wire cover right off. Faster and easier than a wire stripper. Besides you have to heat the shrink on the butt connectors

    I know that on cars there’s usually some kind of sensor(similar to what you’re replacing in this video) that reads whether or not it’s daylight outside and it controls the automatic headlights. If you have any suggestions I’d appreciate it.

    Any idea on the location of the temp sensor on a 2010 W900 (moto mirror)? Is it in the mirror because I don't see the little plug thing like you have? Any ideas of any other location before I tear open the moto mirror assembly?

    HustlenDreams Drivers side it is zip tied to the mirror bracket and you have to buy a new mirror with all the wiring harness and everything if your temperature sensor is messed up and throwing a code and that’ll be 300 and some odd dollars

    Are you out of Freon? I've had to replace evap cores on every one I own...They leak the freon where the evap core meets with the thermal expansion valve. Check my page, I have a video on replacing them...pretty simple and can be done under a couple hours (assuming that's your problem). If you aren't sure if you are low on freon, watch my vid and you can look where the 2 parts connect, it will look like something had leaked and a bunch of dust/dirt will be stuck on that area.
