I’m extremely impressed by your skills because 99. 9% of drivers and owners don’t have a freaking clue how to do much more than checking their oil. I’m a mechanic and I have my own mechanic shop but we mainly work on tugboats and barges much larger diesel engines and I also have another business with dump trucks excavators dozers and a couple tractors. I understand just how much work and headaches it takes to keep everything running and running smoothly. Good luck in the future

I replace compressors once a year on each truck. These new ones seem to have one year obsolescence built into them, being made in red China doesn't help. I bought the Sanden compressors and retro fit kits for the trucks and that is getting done within the month. Great vid as usual Ezra. Stay safe brother

Good to see some interesting content on a Saturday AM. So, I have an idea. A couple actually. First, in the case of the AC compressor for the little additional time needed to create on your part perhaps expand on the theme. Find an old pooched compressor and tear it down to its innards then rebuild. Sell it after if you do not need the part. You are winning here because you have an incredible ability to explain the "how to" part of the business. Same goes for any system or part / repair. Everyone who watched this segment is better for the time invested. Second, you can do short segments. Easily done with light editing if any at all from your driving day. Keep it at 5 -7 minutes dropped as needed. More paying content. Both you and TwinSticks are setting the bar for this trailer trucking content.

If you vac it good moisture leaves the dryer desiccant bag. I’ve never seen one that really needed to be changed. The system runs at more than atmospheric pressure all the time and can’t really get “air” into it. I agree that you’re supposed to change the dryer out but I never have.

warranties generally are not worth the paper there written on void the warranty boo hoo. the fittings used a copper crush washer not a o ring but that also doesn't mean anything, as far as use a qualified tradesperson, i don't work on other peoples stuff only my own but thanks anyway.
Ah negative screw my ass I’m familiar with the kind of weather in Maine 😂
Hi how is the new engine running? Fuel consumption. Oil consumption and whatnot?
The original a/c was charged with R12. Did you switch to R134 and what did you do to make the switch like flushing the system or changing the evaporator? Or had this already been done when you got the truck?
Cool Video ! 😁(sorry).
Negative screw my ass? What's that in bananas? ( fahrenheit ) 😆
Hey good sir I’m in need of your assistance. I’m running a big cam 1 350 . What happens if I run 1500 rpms cruising? I’ve read it’s supposed to be 1700+. What’s your advice?

@@Ezrider359 thanks for the reply. I should be stock. Pyro was around 300-400 . Is that a normal range? I was going easy on the pedal and downshifting when needed.
- screw my 😂 😂 😂 outside
That easy... I understand it didn't fall together but the challenge level is very low on this and I baked my brains out in a cab over

K?
Do you also need to replace the dryer/condenser?

dryer should be replaced any time the system is opened up.

If you vac it good moisture leaves the dryer desiccant bag. I’ve never seen one that really needed to be changed. The system runs at more than atmospheric pressure all the time and can’t really get “air” into it. I agree that you’re supposed to change the dryer out but I never have.
