I was a QA tester on a Wii game at Activision, and one time I was able to get the remote to work somewhat by pointing it to the window at the sun (I think a double layer of glass made it so there were two lights in the infrared camera)

Nintendo was actually somewhat worried about shooting IR at people's faces and LED lifespan so the LED's they used are not that intense. Candles usually worked better than the original bar, especially in warm sunlit rooms

If you notice at 35:06 when Xerxeneea has her picture taken, her face shows no signs of the void in the picture. This means she must have some sort of illusion that makes her look normal to everyone else.

Finally! Xerxeneea has a face! All it took was makeup and some will! Her face truly is the best arc in all of gaming!

Arin, who removed all makeup, keeps getting a bad score regarding outfit, has not shopped or worked out in weeks and is living on hot dogs: YES JUDGE ME! I'm ready! It makes me laugh so, so hard that unlike the clothes, where finding the theme is an actual game, it just tells you what hair and makeup you need to use for full points.

​@Mockingdragon I think in the show the models choose a theme and then the clothes are given to them, they only choose their own sometimes I think.

My headcanon is that Xerxeneea learned how to improve her infiltration skills by applying make up on her void face. Its hard, because she needs to reapply the make up as the void endless nature continues to consume everything it touches. All hail our void girl

i love how there even IS a "candle trick" for the Wii...i mean, it makes total sense (and i thank Arin for hitting all the details that i wouldve), its looking for Infrared Light, so all you need is a source of Infrared... ...that, and also, lighting the candles before you can start playing a Wii game? thats called "setting the mood" ;D

Sometimes I have those dreams where I'm naked in class, but then I realize that nobody else realizes it, so I just sit there in class naked for the whole dream. Sometimes there will be one guy who realizes it, but I'll just shoot him a dirty look and get back to work and he'll keep it to himself. At least it's not some anxiety-driven nightmare, but then I wake up and I'm tired because I just did hours of naked schoolwork all night.

So believe it or not I've seen a full playthrough of this by another pair doing an LP of this game xD They also loved the music and the DING actually became kind of a meme for them. xP A tip that I seem to remember: Food usually raises your food meter but decreases your Fitness level, and you're supposed to try to balance these. But there's a piece of food in the fridge at the house that gives you a little bit of food while losing 0 Fitness. And you can eat it as much as you want. So keep your FItness meter topped out and go back to the house, eat that until you're full on food again, and then all you need to worry about are your style points~ To win, you need to make sure all of the meters at the top are as full as possible and you need to do well on the catwalk. You got eliminated that first time because your Fitness, Mood and clothes were all really low. But yeah, looks like you did really good the second time around, good job, so...~ -*INSERT THE ROUNDEST OF ALL APPLAUSES*

I love the idea of them playing this game every few months until they beat it three years from now

We need more of Hank's side plot. Poor guy's model parents hated him (probably for not being a model son) and then were killed by models. No wonder the guy wants nothing to do with models or modeling! But perhaps Xerxeneea is just the model he needs to change his mind

Helpful tips in case you might see this: 1. Fruit from the house fridge is a godsend, just eat all of that every morning and you’ll be full for a whole day of doing stuff. 2. You’re judged by a random judge every week so make sure each day they come (I think Wednesdays) that your meters are full. 3. You get money so def try and check the clothes store at least once a week. You can also always check with the fashion lady and basically build the perfect outfit on the first day of the week L

Arin got actual motion controls AND learned how to run? He's learning.

I can't believe that Xerxeenea has a face now. Her being a faceless void was so funny to me. Still going to watch religiously. EDIT: Now that I see her with that weird strawberry cheesecake ice-cream colored hair it is still very cursed.
