Whatever. Before Tosh ever set foot in a recording studio of even had joined the Wailers, Bob had already recorded a couple of solo singles ('Judge not', 'One cup of coffee',...). And for your information, although Tosh was indeed the first Wailer to play an instrument, it was Papa Roy Anderson (Rita's father) who gave Bob his first guitar and taught him to play.

Many people failed to see the intellect behind Peter Tosh.Peter was very intelligent and gifted and lived prophetically. People did not recognise the character much ,but always commented and concerned themselves about the use of the herb. I FOLLOWED the man as a youth and as an oppressed South African soon after his last album release, politics changed and apartheid crumbled. It was unfortunate that he did not leave to see his words fulfilled.

I wish they were still alive on earth.

I love Peter same as I love Bob. I just wish that people recognize that under the comments of Bob's interviews people comment only about Bob and his message. Why do people keep mentioning Bob and comparing when Peter does his own interviews? I think people should stop this comparison and appreciate them independently. There are always going to be differences when 2 individuals are compared

Brave man Peter Tosh. He was outspoken and truthful which can raffle feathers. Peter Tosh is a gifted talented once in a life time out spoken singer. It is clear that he had alot to say this is because of the experiences he had with people and the system. The system is to robbed and tricked. He was brutalised and I think the Jamaican instituation owes Peter an opology for treatment he received. Great man.

The scary Peter who could burst into his sarcastical face any minute??? No man!! He gets a good interview with the intelligent Peter Tosh who had obviously been thinking alot and been around Jamaica to collect the information he could now deliver forwards to a white reporter!! I'm quite sure that Peter Tosh didn't judge people by colour but by their honesty and how smart they were. Respect, RIP the great Rebel Wailer!!

This mans talent and aura was so heavy. A genius and real boss. The substance in his and Bob's music was incredible. Imagine them making music into old age like Winston Rodney, who also is not marketed enough.

I would say comparing Peter and Bob is a wrong thing to do. The system stood between them because with these two great people together with the message; obviously is not what the ruler of this world wanted. They were both super gifted.

Yes, and if you'll notice they don't do this with white artists. Only rappers, reggae singers & other Black figures. I'm white but it's so blatant & disturbing. Even Black people take part in it because it's so normalized. Classic COINTELPRO tactic. They turned the Panthers against each other, compared Martin to Malcolm & fed into the East Coast/West Coast "war" between 2Pac & Biggie until both were dead. "They" being the media which is the propaganda arm of the government. The only solution is to refuse to play into it or support publications that engage in it.

At the Publix in my town, they have arrows, so people don't bump into each other, and someone came racing around a corner today looking at his phone and I said "your going the wrong way", (he was going the right way) and he called me an idiot. The reason their arrows isn't because of which way people go down the aisle. Peter Tosh, seems to emphasize the area in your psyche that get's the most abuse, of course, I was wrong, but I took the abuse of being called an idiot, for Stepping to the guy and telling him he was the cause of all the lines and everything. Perfect analogy for Babylon.

I met a bush doctor who told me I'd have an illness from something I ingest but I will live though the specific il ess none has been known to survive; I am Jamaican born & raised, went to Camperdown High and moved to Florida in 1974. Well my mother used only bush teas and natural plants & herbs for all ailments. She delivered all of us and my sisters' children at home plus half the neighbourhood. Well I did get very ill from ingesting sulfa based medication in Atlanta in 2001 & took the 7th doctor to diagnose a severe alewives reaction; Stevens-Johnson Syndrome.. I was the first survivor even the CDC had seen. Same bush Doctor told me my husband & I would always be together, after 44 years together & 40 years married, he passed peacefully in his sleep December 15th 2018.. Still grieving I know the Almighty has a plan for each & everyone. I am thankful for our two sons for their compassion & love, most importantly I thank my Heavenly Father for all His blessings, tender mercy & love. Blessings in Christ our Saviour who died for all of us that through Him we shall be saved. Thank you dear brethren for your insight, much respect & Blessings, Sincerely... Betty Davis🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
