So, yeah, he's a jew, and I get that your probably some kind of ultra-nationalist, but if you want to build an economy based on production, not on debt or other pecuniary manipulations, you need to take in consideration a LOT of what Peter and other austrians have to say!

Jesus Christ died for your sins on a cross and rose again after three days. You have committed evil deeds, as all humans have done. God is a just judge, and must punish you for these sins, because he is perfect by his nature. But God loves you, does not want to punish you. This is why God took the form of a man, Jesus Christ, and died as a sacrifice for your sins on a cross. He was punished for your sins, so that you could be made righteous in God's sight. After three days, Jesus rose again, because it is impossible for him to have been held down by death. This is great news! Repent, (that is, change your mind,) and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and be saved from the judgement of God. God will reward you for your faith with eternal life, and forgiveness for your deeds. I sin, and you sin, and we both will continue to sin, but Jesus Christ died for these sins, and God is willing to forgive them. Repent, and believe the Gospel.

Even Michael Moore, a staunch Democrat, said it was shit. Whether you like it or not Obamacare is a corporate bill, like the TPP, and Obama advertises it as "affordable healthcare" which is a lie, just like he said "You can keep your old coverage." Obamacare is set to collapse because it mathematically doesn't make any sense, that's why prices have only gotten higher and they are set to get even higher. Wake up and smell the coffee liberal, you don't have the slightest idea of how this bill works. Its a moneymaking machine for the insurance companies and the pharmaceutical industry. Peter has increasingly been vindicated since this discussion! His reasoning against these clowns is as solid as his voice is resonant!
I been on Medical a government program and what I saw was doctors and hospitals not providing me any real services, I go in there and they take the governments money and pretty much give nothing in return. I filed complaints and got no real response or action taken. Basically these doctors and hospitals knew they had a blank check and unlimited costumers so what does service matter.

Public-Private, who can be opposed to that? - I can! Brilliant, Peter. In any case, whatever the public have will come from the private, so it is never public-private, it's always private.
he begins by saying "none of us are Constitutional Scholars......" that was intended to try to discredit Peter and anyone else disagrees with Government Healthcare. As Peter Schiff stated, "You don't have to be a Constitutional scholar to understand that it is unconstitional." Well said sir.
Sachs: "We have a system which is the most market-oriented, what do we get for it? the worst coverage and the highest prices" ..... That's not because the free market... That's because there is limited competition, no price transparency, outrageous corruption at the federal level with insurance companies, and in some cases, hospitals have to charge high prices because they are giving services to people who can't pay, thus they pass that cost onto the guy who can pay...... To blame the free market is laughably incorrect. Champions of big government as usually suspiciously entangled with conflicts of interest......The democratic party so ironically has become the party of corruption and greed, the same insults they would hurl at the republicans.

asdimd Upon re-watching, I noticed that I just bought Jeffrey Sachs book (advertised in the sub title at 4:00...did they advertise one of Schiff's books?), and in The Price of Civilization, I only had to read a short ways (and along the way I did find many points of agreement) to find the glaring eyes of Statism. Here's Jeffrey Sachs' thesis: "We need to reconceive the idea of a good society in the early twenty-first century and to find a creative path toward it. Most important, we need to be ready to pay the price of civilization..." (wait for it) "...through multiple acts of good citizenship..." (HERE IT COMES) "...bearing our fair share of taxes..." (BAM! Right out of the gate!, but there's more) "...educating ourselves deeply about society's needs..." (I suppose he's just the person to define society and tell us what it needs) "...acting as vigilant stewards for future generations..." (by continuing to pay taxes on interest to the Federal Reserve, I'm sure) "...and remembering that compassion is the glue that holds society together..." (Lucky enough for him, there's already a government in place to enforce compassion where Sachs doesn't see enough of it).

asdimd For people like Sachs, the self-(d)illusion is that they can benevolently run a society, and the other bobble heads just sit there and say, "Uh huh, yes, run a society, we can and should do that."
