My mom recorded Mary Martin's Peter Pan on PBS when I was a kid and there's no other version I'd rather watch. It's so good.

There is one Peter Pan and that is the GREAT Mary Martin. This version is EASILY forgotten.

I’m a Walker fan, he was miscast. The whole thing was dreadful.

PETER PAN is, in my view, the best musical ever made! I have loved the Mary Martin version for as long as I can remember, but I loved the new version too---in some ways, even moreso. I can't understand why people made fun of it, it was great, and REALLY put me in the Christmas spirit, what with all those cozy commercials with Melissa Joan Hart and her family. It was almost as though we were transported back to the 1950s again, with TV as pure and innocent. I loved it so much, commercials and all, that I WISH the commercials were included in the official DVD release. The 2014 PETER PAN was a heartwarming, uplifting, inspiring, illuminated musical wonder! I loved it and am so glad it was made!!

I missed it on tv. I finally rented a dvd copy from my local library and I was bored to death that I didn't even finish it. The actors who portrayed the pirates crew and mother of the Darling children were the only best parts and saved the whole show.
