I hate paying my damn rent bill every month. It was a lot easier being a kid.

I like that Smee offers her rum, alcohol, and cigars because he’s absent minded and too nice to be Hook’s right hand man. Hook is upset about that probably that he doesn’t like the idea of children smoking and drinking or he’s pretending to be caring to trick Wendy. I’d say it’s the second theory.

smee is the dimwitted uncle and hook is the strict but caring type because when smee offer those to wender hook got mad at him and gave him the hint of telling him no

Having someone on your ship, who regularly reads tales to the whole crew each evening, is an genius idea actually. It could do wonders keeping the morale of the crew up ... till Hook locks someone into the chest again, that is. ^^

Bartholomew Roberts had musicians on his ship, and apparently they were important enough that he listed a day off for them in his pirate code. Supposedly, Samuel Bellamy's crew once tried putting on a play to keep themselves entertained. The play was about a pirate's trial. Unfortunately, a couple crew members had gotten drunk below decks and fallen asleep. They woke up and came staggering out at the moment in the play the pirate is found guilty. In their drunken state, these pirates didn't realize it was just a play and thought that their friend had been captured, so they lashed out with their weapons and I think one of the actors lost an arm.

Apparently not because Wendy developed feelings for Peter feelings of love for Peter. But when Peter took off on her That made Wendy very sad and she caught herself to sleep. Wendy found hook more of a man of feeling while Peter was the opposite. Wendy learned from hook that Peter could not love because that was the riddle of his being. hook did seem to actually be fond of Wendy. Despite his ulterior motive I could see that there was a flirtation between Wendy and Hook. Despite her age of course I could actually tell by Wendy's demeanor That's Wendy would prefer hook over Peter.

They would have to change the cast anyway. Hook had its own versions of young Peter and young Wendy in flashback scenes.

This movie really should’ve been the Disney remake, it’s a shame Universal snagged it. You can clearly tell when it’s taking notes from the cartoon. God, if only we could’ve had that timeline, and had a chance to meet THIS Captain Hook in the parks…

Thanks for making my mind argue about which one I should pick. Cause I love both

I thought this was a neat added subplot. Wendy acting as a mother to the pirates. Not to mention Aunt Millicent. I also thought it was interesting how Wendy gets in trouble at school and how Nana gets put out. I thought this film was wonderful. My only complaints from a personal standpoint was I wish they had it take place in late May/early June to match up with the time that they return in the book. I also wish they kept the part about the Indians guarding Peter's hideout.

Only temporarily. Wendy wanted to join hook's crew after she had an argument with peter about feelings. It was fun while it lasted but it does mean that wendy betrays peter, the lost boys & her brothers.

After he said "you have a thought of becoming a pirate me hearty" That he went on to say about the name red-handed Jill Hook said. "what a marvelous name" This is a nod to the Peter Pan musical versions
