This interview is surreal. Abysmal production yet captivating because of Peter's graceful and genuine engagement. I don't think this could have happenend 20 years ago.

Thanks for this. I just endured a tour with a musician who worked with pete who slagged him off totally and said he was impossible to talk to. This totally disparages all that and my Icon is restored. What an amazing humble side you have uncovered..

its so hard to even watch this... the production value is very poor... sounds like it's from the 90's and the volume levels are all over the place. and no, theres no excuse like "well peter held the mic too far." it's called *post*production for a reason.

An absolute gentleman, pure class. I do recommend the Dalis Car EP so full of emotion, eery but brilliant so check it out, Peter's vocal is sublime!

OMG !!! Peter was tapping in Morse code on the microphone with his pinky the entire time!!! BRILLIANT - the message reads : "Vampire Lizards do run earth - but only here for porn", then something garbled about Marlin Perkins & snakes ... well, that's a relief, I guess.

10:20 Peter should've known that tapping his finger like that would make it sound as if a popcorn machine was going off behind him.

It's a shame that peter Murphy and nick cave never worked together, I feel like they would've made a hell of a team.

It wasn't THAT bad. Handing the mike back & forth was a bit annoying. Overall, a good interview. If you really want a laugh try the closed captioning.

Steve Jansen isn't a Porcupine Tree member, you mixed him up with Richard Barbieri.

I thought Flex was Peter Murphy. there's some resemblance.

Murphy is god among gods, but this interview's a bit of a wake-up call. he's still DA MAN, but there is the stutter, and there is the twitching, and you wonder where it's all going from here. As far as the morse code I believe he's sending a request to his main man telegram sam though I'm not sure what it's about. these goths, so many needs (@immrnoidall holy shit, your message had me laughing so fucking hard).

Peter Murphy is great in this but the interviewers are beyond horrible. I mean, is it that difficult to hold the damn microphone the same distance from your face every time?
