I have watched over and over again on KZread- Secret World (Back to Front) and I am amazed by this show. It is a wonder of art, music and emotion. I am fascinated by Peter Gabriel's voice, his energy, his creativity and his connection with the audience. He makes me feel alive, happy and nostalgic at the same time. It is one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life. Thank you, Peter Gabriel, for this unforgettable experience!

Loved this more “rockish” version. The rhythm section is so catchy and love how David Rhodes shines much more in this one. That SG screams for this kind of stuff where David’s style and tone are more evident. Love it.

I stood in this unsheltered place 'Til I could see the face behind the face All that had gone before had left no trace Down by the railway siding In our secret world, we were colliding All the places we were hiding love What was it we were thinking of? So I watch you wash your hair Underwater, unaware And the plane flies through the air Did you think you didn't have to choose it That I alone could win or lose it In all the places we were hiding love What was it we were thinking of? In this house of make believe Divided in two, like Adam and Eve You put out and I receive Down by the railway siding In our secret world, we were colliding In all the places we were hiding love What was it we were thinking of? Oh the wheel is turning spinning round and round And the house is crumbling but the stairways stand With no guilt and no shame, no sorrow or blame Whatever it is, we are all the same Making it up in our secret world [x3] Shaking it up Breaking it up Making it up in our secret world Seeing things that were not there On a wing on a prayer In this state of disrepair Down by the railway siding In our secret world, we were colliding In all the places we were hiding love What was it we were thinking of? No words: Only - perfect - on all the levels. One of my favourite musical piece, because it is complete track with powerful energy and delicate tenderness. Here, in my opinion, it's probably the best world-class band of the world, especially with Manu Katché on drums, Tony Levin on bass, David Rhodes for one time on lead guitar, David Sancious on keyboards and, of course, with the charismatic and emotional voice of Peter Gabriel. Power with always melodies and harmonies. It's quite rare in the rock world.

Manu Katche, Tony Levin and David Rhodes…..doesn’t really get any better than that!!! Superb rendition!!! Thank you for your work Peter Gabriel. Genesis for example is now remembered for the work he inspired when he was with them in the early 70s…… Quintessential Classics!!!

To be fair, I don’t think anyone could call him underrated..🤔
Love how this song builds into a complete swirling array of musical notes, and Gabriel's cut right through to your soul vocals, then lowers to a whisper only once again to culminate in an explosive and then soft landing for a finale'.
First saw Peter in 1975. A lifelong love of his magical, thought provoking, beautiful sounds and lyrics. Mr. Gabriel has added so much richness and wonder to my life. Seen him in concert 12+ times and each is its own unique adventure. A truly inspired musician/performer.
Toni Levin , Manu Katche and David Rhodes, what a trio of magnificent musicians. And of course, PETER.

Saw this tour. This song always brings tears to my eyes. Then they Rock the hell out of it. Tony Levin rocks.
Peter Gabriel is truly all about the music !!! That tribal ancestry we have, that human beingness we were meant to have !
Years go by, no forget no one, but that voice... mmm the voice is still the same. 🥰🥰 Will never forget Badalona, white lights, end of concert, people going out pavilion, jumpers taking wires... Then Peter comes on stage and plays a capella on piano "here comes the flood"... Wowowowwlf.
Wow this performance is electric ,great vocals as ever from Peter but also from all others on stage !
"Sshhhh: Listen!" Manu and Tony frickin' DRIVE this song... and the rest of the band more than keep up. Release the Funk Fingers! Love how they all lean back at the end as an homage to the staging/spinning screen of the US tour.
Great, fantastic, amazing simply perfect. Peter Gabriel, is my the best singer ever. My father took me to a concert and now i take my son to the concert in munich. ❤
... goosebumps, when David begins his guitar riff ... 🤟
Chi compone e suona così, passa direttamente alla storia! Qui siamo veramente di fronte a una band di prima grandezza...
Peter has done it again! Greatest live performance of Secret World I've seen👍

A gifted poet, a talented musician, Peter Gabriel is one of a kind.
Peter Gabriel , the voice 🌹
A tremendous gift to the world Mr Gabriel is! A storyteller's voice of unlimited measures!
There is one of the artists to respect who continue making the masterpiece which does not fade all through the ages.
"seeing things that were not there, in this state of disrepair". Been there in the 80's and immediately bonded with these lyrics. I'm fine. And this is a great version of the song.
Energia pura e sofisticato elogio alla musica vera.
Genius , yes. Excellent , yes. Thankful
Seen Peter Gabriel live, Lay Your Hands on me was amazing.
Thats is a absolute best free performance music in this life!!..
A magnificent version that transcends the already great original...
In my opinion the best and most humanistic music artist

@@morbidmanmusic The energy and climate behavior as the only criterion for judging a person or a band seems to me very one-sided. Humanistic behavior presents itself in many different ways. In particular also the desire and will to respect all social and ethnic groups and to give them a voice and meaning in this world.
Peter Gabriel is the absolute artist, that do this show from A to Z, without never forgotting the MUSIC. He is unique.

I had the privilege of seeing this tour in Las Vegas. It was literally the best "sounding" show I had ever seen. Whoever was running FOH was really on top of his/her game. The two women singing background harmonies in this video were also the warm-up act and they were spectacular. Hands down, the best concert experience of my life.

Sono un violinista. Di solito suono Bach, Beethoven, Paganini. Però sono nato e cresciuto con Peter Gabriel. La sua musica unisce la mia famiglia e ogni volta che lo ascolto piango come un bambino.
Mr. Gabriel has never disappointed me. Mesmerized by his creativity since my early childhood; listening to things I wasn't supposed to be listening to.

I had more than tears I started to cry the first time I saw PG, it was on my birthday 1983 at the best venue in Seattle (sound wise) for rock concerts. This was one of the 4 times I've had the pleasure to see PG live. The last time he was with Sting on their Rock Paper Scissors tour. The most memorable for me was the UP tour because I took my young teenage boy and girl...it was a bucket list thing for me. Dn't ask which show was best I couldn't say probably because every show I saw was perfection.
Poeta, compositor e aquela voz que nos maravilha! Peter mantem-nos deliciados com a sua musica deste tempos....imemoriais! Força Peter e PARA SEMPRE!!!
One of the greatest musician of the world. A awesome band. Love to all of them and to the rest of the world.
Peter, we love you and your music! Thank you!
For me - I saw him in Sheffield - this was the best gig Ive been to in 50 years. Till then probably Simple Minds and before that Genesis back in 1973 but this was just on a different level to everything else Ive seen
Solid performance.
One of my favourite 😍
Shh, listen

Crazy thing: I came to KZread to watch a video of a different version of "Biko," and eventually, this popped up. Don't know how I never heard this song before, but I love it. I must've listened to it a dozen times in the past couple days. ... Great tune!
❤❤❤Again n Again, i hear the eco of this beautiful singer, i love his voice n i love, the voice of my lovely singer, the great n my amazing VODAFONE, he is forever walking besides me n energising me. Thank you my Guardian Angel in disguised. My Favorite VODAFONE, for posting this manificient video. God bless you where ever you are.
Fantastic. That simple groove at the end was reminiscent of AC/DC jamming on a chord to vamp the groove and make a sort of anthem out of it.
Legendary musicians. Legacy of greatness.
maestroooooooooooooooo
Probably my most favorite song of his, ever. Also a stage favourite since the tour that supported the Us album. I like any of the live versions of it. More energy and a rockier edge to it than the studio version. And in my own personal opinion, Manu Katche outstands any of the drummers he's had.
