That there is a 74 year old professional singer, who although has some obvious aging of his vocal chords, is using every trick in the book to get the notes out the way he wants them to. He's good now, but he was absolutely great back in the day.

Some people sound dissatisfied with his voice, but this is the first I've heard I've heard him sing since his prime Chicago years, and if someone told me they were going to give me a chance to hear him sing, and took me here to listen to this, it would be way more than I would have hoped or expected. I think he's killing it as much as he can.

Omg! All that passion ❤. I grew up as a toddler in the 70s, and Chicago was huge! I remember Peter Cetera with his iconic hair, good looks, and that voice 😮 is so soothing. Thank you ❤❤❤

any of these videos are from encore at end of solid 2 hr concert. That is only time you can use cameras. Have seen him twice and just keeps getting better. And so personable, when you introduces you to the band, they are from big outfits. can hardly wait to see him again.

Jessie McGuinty I know this is an old post, but no, sadly he announced in fall 2019 he was finally done and sick of being on the road. I feel so privileged that between 2009-and this show I saw him live 5 times. Absolutely worth the time/travels/cost. Still a great showman and demonstrates incredible craftsmanship with music after all these years!!!

He has that brassy quality to his voice, that Jason Scheff doesn't quite capture. No disrespect to Jason, since he sounded fine when I heard Chicago in concert.

Not bad for 74. He can't handle the modulation anymore - even when the key is lowered but that's age for you. He still sounds awfully smooth with what he's got left.

Chicago never had an official leader. Actually, Cetera was THE frontman. His voice was on the majority of CHICAGO hits . Obviously someone hasn't seen concerts of the original lineup in action. 🎬 🎬 🎬

They have a guy, Neil Donnell, that sings his parts like Cetera did 30 years ago, they don't really need Cetera anymore. If anything, Cetera needs the band to get out high school gymnasiums.

I think he sounds great! He started singing again in 2004?, so he's been at it a good while now, but no ones going to sound the same as when they're young. Wish he would come to South Carolina...would definitely buy a ticket!
