I know some people are disappointed that this game's take on Venom/the Symbiote completely lacks the "antihero" side of the character, but as a horror fan who grew up on the 90s animated series' take on Venom and who got plenty of childhood nightmares from that and the Raimi take, I quite approve of this game's nightmare fuel-laden Venom, especially after the Sony films. I feel like this game and the Sony 'Venom' films are two sides of the same coin and spiritual antitheses: whereas Sony's Venom is pure antiheroism and humour, Insomniac's Venom is pure psychological monster and corruption.

Peter fighting Kraven in the symbiote suit reminds me of Spider-Man 3. Overall, this game is what you get if Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man 3 and Web of Shadows had a baby.

I like how Martin Li is no longer a bad guy anymore but he can guess he's a hero.

Kraven during the fight: uses the bell so he can cheat and win. Miles during the fight: uses the bell to save Peter from the Symbiote.

I really wished kraven didn't die in this game because his va did such a great job

The music that starts playing when peter is breaking the box is very similar to the last soundtrack in the movie Life that came in 2017, and ironically enough, in that movie tv spot they showed a scene from spiderman 3, which led people to conclude that Calvin (from the movie Life) is some sort of symbiote, I'm really reaching here, but it would be so cool if that were the case, specially that Sony made the movie too.

i felt bad for how scared the kraven follower was at 2:30

I wouldn't say so. Does he have the potential? Certainly. What made Miles win this fight was that his convictions were in the right place. His heart was correct. Peter's wasn't.

After everything he did I don't think we can consider him as "good guy" but yeah, he knows that things he did were evil and wants to be better. So maybe he is not good guy but he is not evil guy anymore.
