Peter Bernstein is one of the greatest living jazz artists, and Lori (a very talented musician) understood him and complimented his brilliant performance perfectly. This is one of the best jazz performances I've heard in the past decade.

It gets no better than this. I could see a big smile on Wes face when Peter hit his chord solo with his thumb.
I saw Peter not long ago in NYC. He was amazing there as he is here. If you ever get a chance see him live!

He was reharmonizing extemporaneously so musically it’s the better choice to lay out otherwise the two chordal instruments are likely going to produce sonic disjunction.
And that, folks, is jazz!!!

There is a mistake in the description. The song is by Philip Springer and not by Hoagy Carmichael, which is a completely different tune.
