NBA Street Vol 2 brought me here when I was a kid. That game will always have a special place in my heart because of that because this has been one of my favorite songs ever since. Both the song & the game are timeless classics.

First discovered this album this year and it's absolutely a hip hop classic. This song is 30 years old and sounds as fresh as it did in 1992.

The nostalgia hits hard with this joint. I clearly remember watching the music video when it came out as a young 12 yr old back in '92. Dope times!

Probably my favorite song. Nobody has ever worked a sample like this. CL Smooth's lyrics, I cherish too.

Man, back when this came out it grabbed my soul. I was 15 and his bars floored me. After calming down over what is CLs lyrical genius, the musical genius of Pete Rock got me on the emotional tip all while tied in to the message. Those lyrics with that music was a pure masterpiece. Every time it would play I just had to pause and just let it. And after all these years it still does the same thing. I just have to pause and just listen and take it in. How can you not be captivated by everything about this joint.
