The reason I love this album and rate it so highly is because it sounds *effortless*. For years there has been a little bit of trend chasing - this album is just like “fuck it - we are Pet Shop Boys, and this is what we do.”

Love them...they can do everything..........Pop, Beatles style, Lounge Style, Dancefloor, a little bit Rock ..... They are very very talented songwriter....such beautiful melodies .... Every ballad is a masterpiece ❤ Timeless ........ not like the crap in the charts nowadays .... Who will hear this in a few years ......

This entire album is like the Pet Shop Boys coming full circle. Having done everything there is to do, they find themselves back at the beginning, revisiting familiar sounds and styles that, in a way, have always been an element of their work. PSB Forever!

Sounds brilliant, the intro/bass are very reminiscent of New Order/Electronic whom I know the boys are great friends with! 💪🏻

What I find so amazing about this album is that it isn't merely a "very creditable late effort" from these guys: it's way better than that. In fact, after two weeks' listening, I'd place it on a par even with Behaviour.

Funky riffs, New Order-style guitars, biting and ironic lyrics. Must become a single! 😍

Great Music production 👏!

Maybe time to give the strobe lights and fog machines a break but I'm sure there are a couple tracks on this album that I would love just as there are on every one of their releases. I always have a few of their tracks in my mixes no matter the year. Currently having a listening love affair with a wildly creative and erotic remix of "We All Feel Better in the Dark", "Love Comes Quickly" (speaks to my current state), "One More Chance" (which to my mind harkens back to an obscure Village People track called "Five O' Clock in the Morning") , the perennially compelling "King's Cross", it's like a beautiful and mysterious painting , and the majestic melancholy of "Luna Park" I'm also listening to the Liza Minnelli album they produced in (I guess) the '80s and its best tracks, "Love Pains", "Losing My Mind", and the cinematic emotional stalker anthem " I Want You Now". PSB are all about hidden gems. Glad they are still doing their thing!

I love when the strings near the end go all I will survive style....and then Neil comes back in singing again....PSB excels in doing upbeat dancey songs that are also pretty
