Pet Product Review : A Must Buy or a Must Miss ?
#1 - Indoor Toilet Tray for Dogs.
Till now, I have been using a DIY toilet made from the office tray, which i bought for Rs. 250/- from "Bharat Bazzar" and is readily available in stationary shops.
However, as Jhapa started growing and his poop turn dance got bigger and bigger, I decided to finally move to the buy category. One of the main criteria for buying this tray with mesh was so that pee doesn't touch my dog's feet as it is a big cause of fungal and bacterial infection.
Jhapa is also at the peak on his teething phase, which means he bites the tray when he is ideal on his crate. Therefore, a durable plastic material was necessary so that it is not easily ingestable by small dogs.
Cons of this product:
1. It's too big in size, so you may have to tilt the tray to fit in the bathroom door. Hence, empty the tray at least 2 times to ensure the urine doesn't fall off.
2. The gap between the mesh and the tray is not significant enough. If the pee is accumulated a lot, the pee may start touching the paw.
3. Not recommended for dogs above 8kgs as the mesh tray might bend or break as the mesh is not so durable.
