Honey was cute as a button as a little pup and lived a happy life with his elderly owners who loved him so very much. But as years rolled along, it became difficult for his aged humans with health issues to care for the little dog. Several attempts were made to rehome Honey, but no one came forward to adopt him. So, to provide him a forever home, we welcomed Honey to VOSD.
Honey came to us in 2021 and the sweet pooch grew up under the care of our team at the sanctuary. As an adult, Honey is still quite the looker with bright, sparkly eyes, soft fur and the most heartwarming smile. He's been living a full life with us for the past three years with good food, good company and tremendous opportunities for stimulation.
He loves the clean farm air, and the quiet nights at VOSD. Like all young dogs, Honey is also full of exuberance and vitality and very much looks forward to playing with his hundreds of buddies. He is also an enthusiastic eater, loves all his meals and stays healthy.
Honey had to go through a major separation early on in his life, but the agonizing event hasn't dimmed his light. The beautiful dog shines as bright as ever and will have a safe and happy home for the rest of his life.
