@@UziGameGP yes. Pes 6 it's a bit more arcade (more goals, worst defending, less fouls,...) but it's great too, like all PS2 era

@@UziGameGP Yeah, PES 6 is also great. I really thought it would be better than 5 and in some regard it probably is, but this one is slightly better for me. From time to time, my brother and I play PES 6 on big tv because of higher resolutions (also my brother like scoring from a distance, like from 40-50 meters away to be precise, so he quickly loses the ball because of so many silly attempts xD).

Great video. Mad how many different goals can be scored on this game. All the modern games feel the same goals, same dives from the keeper all the time

Yeah, game is full of surprise goals. I am not sure about newer ones, never gave them much chance. Last thing I played was PES 2016 and simply did not like it because of loading times, unnecessary pauses of 2-3 sec for handling a simple throw in etc. Old PES games rock :)

Despite being a game from a long time ago, it seems to me that the goals are much more realistic than current games. They are goals that look exactly like a goal that a player would score in a real match, they look natural. not like in today's games, where you do 50 meaningless dribbles to shoot to the top bins as if it were very easy. Before, skill was required. I also feel that there was an atmosphere that every time you played an old PES, you felt the emotion of a real match, as if it were from the English second division, where you are going to see the team you love. In my opinion better than PES 6

Nice comparison with atmosphere and emotion of real match. I can definitely agree, since that is how I feel about the game too. In my opinion, struggle to get to the top with less famous players in ML or playing lower ranking team in national league is adding to that atmosphere and giving you sense of attachment to particular squad.

I love small box goals! They do look so nice... Finally enjoying this action with wide-screen!

Players do not look stretched here, I don't know exactly what I have done with the patches. Too bad I uninstalled the game and I will have to repeat the process. I changed resolution to full hd 1920x1080 in kload.cfg, as I always do, but game is stretched. Although I got rid of black bars on left and right sides of video so that is better than nothing.

@@pes5forever did you tick the widescreen box in lodcfg? If it does not work, untick wide-screen and set "manual ratio" to 1.7778.

Man you are really a fan of Olympiacos :D Much respect to such devoted fan. I can upload Rivaldo's rabona scored on 3 stars if you wish. I tested some claims that 3 stars are harder than 5 or 6, which they are obviously not, rabona and 4-0 victory prove that xD

Yeah. Superb games - PES 5, 6. In The next one PES 2008 or whatever they changed the mechanics, the way how the game is played on the pitch. Instant disappointment in other words. Since then didn’t play ‘em. Just not the same feeling as in PES 5, Pes 6. Unmatched gaming experience

I share your opinion, it is just not same feeling. A lot of little things put me off of playing newer games after PES 6. Weird animation (leg movements), unnecessary "loading" for things as simple as throw-in or corner kick (i am speaking about PES logo showing for every damn thing happening in match), also inability to skip or turn off those "loading" screens. Sluggish appearing and navigating of menus and response of pressing pause button - they've done that on purpose, probably thinking it is cool to add some animation for pause menu. It just wastes time. For me in sports games these things need to be instant. And also too good graphics - i know this sound silly, but emotion on player's face just does not look convincing, otherwise it is impressive. In older games you know they don't look real but they look similar enough to connect with them and still has that game-ish feeling, not pretending to be real life simulation. Ok, at the time they could not do better graphics, but it was actually perfect combination of all elements if you ask me. And that goes for some other games as well :D

@@pes5forever And the most blasphemous thing that really put me off forever off Pes games (i even tried some later versions after the initial disappointemt of the first course correction game in the series [PES 2008 or which one it was called i dont remember]) was that it played like a FIFA game all of a sudden. It felt that way on the pitch, the leg movenents, the ball movements and all these small things. Discovering PES 4 was a marvel on its own. Playing Fifa was like a default mode and not knowing other things existed which were more exciting and realistic in its feels. After playing the first game in PES 4 i was like Naaah no more Fifa for me, it's just not a thing anymore. And how many happy hours i spent playing PES 4-6.

@@andreyzhuchkov1882 I never owned FIFA games until recently. As a kid I played briefly ISS and PES before PES 5 came along and I was really into football. Then I thought 6 is going to be even better. And it was at first, but I somehow continued to play PES 5 all these years. Are you in Pro Evo 4 (EU) discord group? Maybe we can play together sometime.
