Thisb is why I like perturbaror, he keeps the 80's roots of synthwave but not to a point where it becomes an insufferable 80's nostalgia vomit fest...he makes each song sound part of some epic cyberpunk future.

This came out in 2017 and here I am finding it in 2021. Honest truth to GOD this song resonates with me beyond the physical plane. Truly a blessing. Perturbator is the last word in Synthwave. There are plenty of great artists and groups out there, but at the end of the day, no one really gets the synths to sound as good and dynamic as Perturbator does. Please come back to New York again soon, one of the best shows I got to enjoy.

Yeah, for example at 0:11, you can hear the track's main "beat" starting. On the album version, that's not in the intro. I actually prefer this rendition to the album.

Who remembers the Cyberpunk RPG circa 1996? We were playing that along with Werewolf the Apocalypse, Vampire the Masquerade, and of course classic D&D. Fucking good times man, many late nights of roaming around committing acts of ultra violence after a long session.
Ive been listening to the album version for a while now. And this one is so much better. There's a lot of sound effects which really adds emotion to the music.
Wow this is awesome. Loved seeing the Black Church at the end too...makes me hope for a sequel video!

Despite being set in a "Neo Tokyo" kind of future, I feel this music video is eerily relevant today regarding what is happening in Hong Kong
I hope you and Greta can make more songs again. I know it's a big ask, but they are just so good that I'd love more of them.

This was based on Neo Tokyo in Akira i believe because of the giant building at the end of the music video, also which is what Perturbator get his inspired, of course there be alot of Japanese in this city

Upvoted, weird how I was just listening to this album again today! Perturbator is the shit!
One of the best Pertubator songs with the right visuals for it. It's everything so Blade Runner. Loved it. Also, New Model (album) felt for me like it was writen for the new 2049 movie. James already said it was inspired into our current time, but it felt so right to listen to the album and think about that cyberpunk setting.
