I'm mostly have a theory that Perturabo only became a demon Prince because he was dying and now he's trying to turn back to normal.

@@forspartaaa2348 SPOILER FOR THE BOOK ANGEL EXTERMINATUS!!! During the events of Angel Exterminatus, fulgrim and perturabo went to the eye of terror because fulgrim told that there would be weapons of power, mighty enough to beat the loyalist forces during the horus heresy. But fulgrim Lied to perturabo and wanted to sacrifice him in a ritual to the dark gods to achieve daemonhood. During the ritual loyalist attacked and perturabo managed to safe himself and fight fulgrim, which had managed to achieve his goal and turned into a deamon primarch. Because of the ritual, a part of Perturabo for wounded (won't really know if his souls or body, gotta read the book again) which is now slowly but steadily killing him

Yup that was the leader of the 3rd he poisoned/ use half of the lord of iron’s life force and other evils as an offering to his dark god.
Perty is in my top 3 of primarchs easily. He should not be a deamon prince though, and I will die on that hill

What's up with Perturabo's dreads? They look really similar to the Butcher's Nails but I'm sure that isn't it.

The Butcher's Nails were exclusive to World Eaters. Although they look similar, Perturabo uses ohter ports and things to interface with his armor and Legion's units
Let their Iron tarnish. They have forsaken His Imperium and deserve nothing but ashes.
