The Original is my absolute favourite but filofax pen loops generally are truly terrible! Shame about the gapping rings, but 'Sort Stuff Out' did a video on fixing them, and it does work. Nice to see someone from the UK!

I don't understand how they're still getting pen loops wrong?! After filming that I followed some instructions to sort out the gap, and it's improved it, but it's still not quite right!

@lethbridgepaper Yes, you'd think having been producing planners for 100 years they would have worked pen loops out by now eh? I guess the 'fix' is just a way to try and bend the rings back into shape, and if they're too far out it may not work so well, but it's worth a try at least.

Well exactly! It's annoying because they're not even that far out! I can live with it though.

I like this idea. I don't like rings though. So I think I'll use the weeks booklet to set up and use some of your ideas. Thank you.❤

Ah you're welcome! I've seen some people do a similar thing with a Travelers Notebook also.

Love the original, beautiful and simple. I don’t have much use for pockets either. I like your planner a lot 😊 I need to setup a reference planner badly but have been putting it off. Yeah my rings gapped and I could not fix them either.

Ahh setting up a planner is one thing I don't put off, too much fun! It's really annoying about the rings gapping. Filofax really need to up their game.

Yeah basically, and then there's limited options sadly. A pocket size with small rings would be a perfect purse/EDC.

Sadly the newer pocket Filofaxes have 19mm rings which isn't that small. I've got my eye on a Plotter but they're incredibly expensive to get over here in the UK.

It's a Platinum multi pen! I've had it a few years but I likely bought it from Cult Pens as that's my go to place for pens!
