I don’t have Kitakami yet, and probably never will due to lack of resources, so I’m speaking based on what I’ve seen on YT. What I’m saying does nt detract from Flambino’s skills and mastery at this game, let’s clarify this. His results re on another planet compared to what we humans can do. Having said that, you need dumb red BBs who cluster together like scared cattle and who don’t continuously dodge if you want to score torp hits, passive red DDs to escape being gunned down (why didn’t the Tromp shoot guns instead of concentrating on airstrikes is beyond me), asinine CVs who can’t hit anything and keep dropping you with the wrong armament. What else? Oh, yeah, you also need radar cruisers that don’t dare coming close to obliterate you. I mean, basically you need a cast of paid actors in the red team, if you want to do anything decent. The moment someone focuses you, you’re dead. That salvo from the Monty basically sent you to port. He should have done it to you 5 minutes earlier, but hey, paid actor…

@@skylarsimes8 The only methods to outright buy the resources needed to get Kitakami are so ludicrously expensive that even whales would balk. Something like $3,000 to buy it. It wasn't targeted at that kind of sale. If the goal had been to make money it would have been more like 10% of that to sell 25 times as many. The goal was to get resource hoarders to spend down their resource piles. It is bluntly obvious that this was the purpose given the currencies that were accepted. Your cynicism is excessive.

Only downside I've noticed with Kitakami is those who doesnt have one that "report"/neg karma you out of jealousy.

I remember people hating on me for getting the Tokachi early. They thought I had bought stages of the BP directly for dubs, and somehow it justified them calling me words and stuff. I got it early because I got the extra premium BP (couldn't find any info on the missions it gave and was curious).

@thegreenfather1978 I visited WGs WOT CON in Germany some years ago and got the PZ IIJ as part of a promo. Then a few years later it got added to the shop for a lot of money and after that I encountered on occasion ppl claiming the same as they did with you.

And this is exactly why i dont play the game anymore. The amount of torps in the water and planes has just spoiled surface ship action

But there’s a lot more ships with hydro acoustic now plus a lot of ships got buffed mobility so technically torpedoes are less of an issue, planes on the other hand.

Flambass is a professional player, is his job to perform that well, thats how he makes a living. Thats OK. So making fun of the critics at the end, its just bizarre, UNPROFESSIONAL. But who cares anyway, its just a game after all, a grown ups toy game. The only ones making great money are WG, joke is on us,
