Persona 6 Has Been In Development Since...?

Hey everyone it's Tiller!
Today we're going to be diving into the rumor about Persona 6 and its color... Green!
If you didn't know, the mainline Persona games tend to focus on a color, and in this case rumor has it that Persona 6's focus will be on the color Green
Persona 1 was purple
Persona 2 was orange
Persona 3 was blue
Persona 4 was yellow
Persona 5 was red
Granted, I do think the colors were much more prominent in the modern games than the original Persona 1 and 2s. but nevertheless this is a common trait among the current Persona titles.
However, there's a bit in this rumor that is much more interesting to me...

I have a feeling that the mascot will be a Robot with a global head, which is teal, with a headset around it named Wyrld, instead of a generic goofy voice, he just sounds like your typical new yorker. "Ey, im also the guy who puts folks like ya into the VR, ya know what it means, do ya?!"
I think it'll be announced fall of this year and released in late 2025. I'm really excited to see what they do this time!

Cause it’s an inside thing. Atlus really gotta stop with the fake leak thing.
It feels like they've been trying to do yearly releases either with ports or remakes lately. If they keep that up, i think the next game will be next year

Wasn't the theory of P6 being green brought up way before all these rumors? If i remember correctly, there was a guy that made a video discussing his ideas for P6 and theorized it would be green. That and his video predicted Covid as well lmao
I guess that means Persona 6 is the last Persona game. Unless White and Black can become a theme.

Thanks I appreciate it. Honesty though, I don't really have a concrete thought on what I think p6 should look like. I just want it to be different from P5 and P3R which seems like Atlus and P Studios will have no issues with. I do hope the green is not super taxing on my eyes though.
I completely agree that they probably won’t say anything until at least a while after metaphor releases I think at the earliest the beginning of next year now that does not mean I’m not dieing to know tho 😂
2019 development sounds about right especially with the super high levels of outsourcing they did in key roles for p3r and p5t. I'd imagine they were splitting their focus a lot for the first 2 years then somewhere in 2021 they put the majority of staff on persona 6. Explains fully why P3R wasn't particularly ambitious (still fantastic just not above the scope anyone was really expecting, they did what they needed to do). I can see an announcement at the end of this year. Game Awards seems like a good spot since it's a little after metaphor (which will be nominated for at least a couple of things if not game of the year just like p5 was back then, it won't win tho ^_^). Persona 6 gets announced and Atlus funnel that same hype into Metaphor while people wait.

I think the anniversairy point is fair but they might just have a spin off ready lol
Persona 2 is red Orange is a new 25th color, it isnt in the game nor what its ui and story fits thematically, its red for IS, White for EP

Yeah, it's definitely more of a marketing thing. I never really understood it, because of the directional divide between the early games and the Hashino trioligy but Atlus doing... something, I guess.

Yeah it's definitely a "just so it doesn't overlap with P5" thing instead of it actually making sense
P6 will come out in October 2026
My Only Option For Persona 6 is Black & White Plus it's Code Name Carbon
I would much rather have pink or something. Green is such a bleh color
