I feel you. Check out Bug Fables, it comes out next week on consoles. A spiritual successor to the old Paper Marios. Battle system, originality, charm, it’s all there.

If you start accounting all the curses, the optional upgrade shop, and the star attacks, you can get a pretty comprehensive reward system for social links.
