I'm actually obsessed with this rap now, below are things that gets the happy part of my brain freaking out: 0:20 and 0:36 - didn't catch this until I listened with my good headphones later, but the panning between left and right ear at the "make-make-make-making" and "thieve-thieve-thieve-thieves" made me smile so much 1:02 - "I'm part of the crew, who's countering you, who's better then mew" great flow AND a cat pun? Brilliant, superb, 10/10 1:18 - "We are the very definition of the well dressed" so fucking CLASSY man every time I hear it I have to rap along 1:36 - "Eff this" CLASSIC 1:40 - "Gotta a captain at the helm you're never stopping this kid" Captain Kidd reference YES 2:13 - "Watch out for her claws boys" got me weezing when I heard it 2:30 - Hearing "You're a fucking creep" in the background sent shivers down the spine, the background voices were such good accompaniment overall 3:12 - "We'll start a new path, we'll start from the past, we'll start a revolution carried by the weight of the art, we'll start by cleaning up the toxic waste that builds in the heart" was so freaking smooth, 3:43 - "Yes I'm top of the line, only 2nd to a joker, no i'm not his punchline" as a Makoto fan this got me hollering and wooping at the top of my lungs 4:16 - " I am the Sakura everyone likes" For some reason the rhythm of this particular sentence made me picture Futaba doing the Zany dance from Fortnite where they do like 3 steps then do the surprised hands next to their face and I can't get it out of my head because it's exactly something that Futaba would do 4:32 - "Navigate the palace like I'd navigate a comic con, shadows comin at us so i'll summon necronomicon" - again, such a great flow and so fun to rap 5:12 - "She's an empress, she's a queen, just a girl that wants to be free" both an arcana reference, and also just a super groovy and hard-hitting line 5:20 - "Outside gentle, inside screams how the ends justifies the means" this particular line hits hard cause this must have been exactly what she was thinking after Okumura died on TV, like, she's free from being sold off to marriage, but she may have also killed her dad? and even though she's heartbroken that her dad is dead in the end she can't be anything but relieved that she can finally be her own person? yeah i think about this line a lot Yeah anyways I'm probably going to add in more notes afterwards because I'm definitely going to be listening to this again, but these are what I could think of off the top of my head and yeah I'm surprised that this video had so few likes
