yarution367 Yeah :D Fighting is chaotic with very fast movements, shaky angles, our eyes can't even see the mistakes, often focusing on still-shots to showcase certain moves. Dancing on the other hand needs to be choreographed, moderate speed but still showing off EVERY movement the character makes. Remember shows in the 80s? Character always had 2 step dance moves, which just repeat over and over.

Here just in time for the game to finally come to PC. So happy to see P4G be made accessible to so many more people!

Started this on switch after having started the PS2 version a while back on failing hardware. I didn't even realize this version had a unique intro, but, while I think the PS2 intro was probably more thematic, I can't help but just love the retro TV vibe/visuals this has. The upbeat song and the funk video-esque colors going on are unforgettable.

Can't watch watch this without smiling.

I'm 8 hours into P4G on PC (I just finished P5R, which was my first Persona game, when it came out) and this intro is already nostalgic for me. P5R will always and forever be my favorite, but P4G is slowly climbing further and further up the list of my favorite games of all time.

To me it is because this one is dark..but the undertones are what are dark..while the intros are very nice and lighthearted we know how dark it can get in the game itself. Everyone confronting their darkest selves, murder. I like the duality of the intros and the game itself.

P4 is also the most light hearted game in the smt franchise, while games like SMT 1, 2, and the Digital Devil Saga games I think are more dark and should get more attention, because P3 and 4 are hogging it all. They're really underrated and more people should give them a try. I'm playing SMT 1 right now and I'm really loving it. Its not for everyone though, which is why I think P3/4 get all the attention, because its a less hard more streamlined SMT and not nearly as hard as those.

It'd just be nice to see them do more things with older SMT games, but since Persona 3/4 is more popular, its a lot less risky since not too many people know of older SMT games. Hell, even Nocturne gets a bit more attention than other games.

Stupiddogcomics I would not care if they make 5 as hard as the SMT series or even the first two Personas as long as i get a easy mode. That way fans of the first two get the difficulty they want. I also don't mind if it gets dark again, from what little we know though it feels like they wanna make P5 dark.

This song is such whiplash after Persona 3 lol. But this is the defining Persona style for me. The jazzy music with the highly stylized animation and the characters just hanging out being goofy is Persona's aesthetic.

Ok, it's official. This game has actually displaced Planescape: Torment as my favourite game of all time. I _never_ thought that any game would do that.

Planecape torment is freaking good but so is this i have 8 or so game that i really love, persona 4 / 3 , ff 8/8/9, mgs 3, planescape torment, sotc, resident evil 4 , kh 2 and deus ex. But yeah most of the days when someone ask me i will probably say nothing beats persona 4.

This is honestly one of my all time top 5 favorite games ever. Everything about this game is perfect. The soundtrack, the gameplay, even the graphics are great for a vita game.

It’s sad when you can’t beat a good game

Almost 12 years passed, there is still no game opening better than this one imo.

the song and the girl's corpses hanging in the background is so funny it hurts

Persona 4 really is just Diamond is Unbreakable again

And so, after buying it on a whim for my vita with no prior knowledge of the series, I was introduced to one of my favorite games of all time with this snazzy ass intro

its preety cool beacuse since this starts when you boot up the game instead of having to wait a while in the title screen i would just let it roll everytime i played beacuse it was like the intro from an anime and i was just waiting for the episode to start so now i love this song :D
