Classic "KEEP YOUR SELF ALIVE HAROLD, ... ILL BE COMING FOR YOU!!!!!! love it

Props to Greer for keeping Grace blindfolded through the exchange. This helped preserve Harold's deception of her that he's dead. Of course, Greer did this to earn some "in" with Harold, and use that as a kind of emotional leverage. Sort of a "he can't be all that bad if he respected my wishes to remain "dead" to Grace" way of manipulating Harold. But Harold clearly will NOT fall for this.

Harold is smarter than anyone and everyone. He’s a beautiful person. None of this would have happened if he would have let John and Shaw kill that congressman. Thai scene was brilliant. When she tripped and he caught her… I just lost it. He really loves her more than himself. It’s really compelling.

I respectfully disagree. Greer did it so Harold would KNOW he could always find, and kill, Grace, any time he chose...

@@jaimekennedy5750You're entitled to this view, yet I would aver that if Harold suspected Greer of being THAT loathsome and dangerous, Harold would have killed Greer...because he loves Grace THAT MUCH!

The look that Reese and Shaw gave Finch was like...Grace will be kept SAFE...and WE ARE COMING!

Never fails to break my heart, utterly. Such a good, honest man, choosing every day to bear such a tragic, lonely burden. The care and adoration in his eyes is only matched by the agony of being closer to her than he's been since his disappearance. Finch's happy ending with Grace was well-deserved and paid for in blood. He saved both Root and John, and in the end, both of them wanted nothing more than to give him what he could never have: A life of peace and rest with the woman he so deeply adored. I can't think of a more honourable sacrifice.

The "she is all that matters" quote and the walk did break my heart. He wanted nothing more but to protect her. If you can recall when they first kidnapped her he gave an order to John and Shaw "if they harm Grace in any way, kill them all". That moment you knew Finch was ready to unleash his darkness if his one true love ever got hurt. Interesting because a big part of the fandom thought he didn't deserve it. But i agree with you. John was a lonely soul destined for death until Harold found him and gave him a purpose (or a job). Root was in her villain era looking for a higher purpose and for someone to understand her. She found both these things on Finch and his precious Machine. They both felt the need to protect that man until they died. Reese said time and time again "you are someone the world can't afford to lose". And he proved that he meant it. Root simply adored him and she was willing to lay down her life just to protect her idol, the man who helped her find redemption and embrace her moral side. You know what did i just realise? I really need to rewatch PoI and it's your fault.

Finch and Reese are just awesome together.

Up to this episode, the reason for Harold to hide from Grace has no longer existed, because samaritan has already found out who she is. Keeping her close would be easier to protect her.

And as you walk with your dog you don't find this awkward !

Well...Finch is way smarter than that. He's a master chess player. He thought a LOT of moves ahead. And his Machine, thought a way many more moves ahead than all this. I choose to believe that when the Machine posed the possibility of Team Machine killing Senator McCourt to prevent Samaritan from being brought on-line, that this was the ultimate fork in the road or river, it was the deciding point as to which path they will take to defeat Samaritan. The Machine likely calculated that some of the Team will in fact die, but that this was MORALLY the more preferred path than for Team Machine to start killing people in order to WIN. After all, isn't that what Samaritan does. Team Machine only kills to thwart a deadly attack...never to simply kill. The ONLY exception I saw to this was when Elias blows up the car that "The Voice" was using to make his exit. The reason THIS was allowed is because THAT guy was going to keep killing...even children just for money and he wasn't going to stop and didn't care who else died in the crossfire.
