Born in Balochestan, SHAN NASH is a producer and DJ currently based in Los Angeles. His unique sound is drawn from his deep passion for culture in the Middle East. SHAN embodies the intrinsic characteristics of a true artist: passion, love, empathy, and the desire to connect every soul through his calling. He continues to perform worldwide and cast his musical spells across the globe through long-format sets, his collection of remixes, and his productions.
SHAN is the founder of LUT Record Label, a collective of like-minded artists specializing in downtempo/organic house music incorporating Middle Eastern sounds and melodies.

Persia After Hours was a special performance series at the Getty Villa in Los Angeles that highlighted musicians, poets, DJs, visual artists, and dancers inspired by Iran’s rich culture and history. The series - which took place over three Summer nights in 2022 - seamlessly blended the past with the present for a unique immersion into the Iranian arts. A highlight of each evening was a featured performance in the Villa’s iconic outdoor theater.
This series complemented the exhibition "Persia: Ancient Iran and the Classical World"(April 6 through August 8, 2022), www.getty.edu/art/exhibitions..., and was presented by the J. Paul Getty Museum in collaboration with Farhang Foundation and UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music.
