@@living_peaceParsis are a dying community. They don’t speak Farsi and have very little bit of their culture left they are mostly Hindus now. None of my Parsi friends follow Zoroastrianism. They don’t know how.

It's so amazing that I can't believe it was built 2,500 years ago. The detailed mural paintings are truly fantastic. I was thrilled to see the video of King Cyrus' tomb, which I learned about in the Old Testament. Iran was a great country and now also. I really enjoyed the video.

Impressive place I have seen it only in pictures thanks Reza and Mahsa Travellersfor showing this treasure to the audience . I only imagine how people in those years built such a beautiful places with such detail with no modern tools !!!

Persepolis è patrimonio dell' umanità che come tutti gli altri sparsi per il mondo, sono in custodia delle nazioni che li posseggo. È importantissimo ricercare e proteggere le testimonianze delle proprie origini ed il popolo iraniano lo fa e bene. Complimenti. Hai ragione nell' affermare che è necessario il supporto di una guida per la visita. In questo caso guida con ottime conoscenze della storia dell' arte. Piccolo appunto: perché, nella didascalia, usi il termine di impero iraniano e non persiano? L' Iran è l' evoluzione storico, culturale, religiosa di una civiltà nata millenni prima. Fammi sapere la tua opinione.

Era un civilización bien avanzada, muy superior a la civilización griega los Persas, Grecia tenía su partenon de maderas tipo quincha, se quemó rápido cuando fue invadido ni rastros quedó , nada de mármol tenía sinceramente , rodeado de casuchas de madera que ardió rápido, era una ciudad que adolecía de servicios sanitarios, era cochina Atenas , por eso se producían continúas epidemias. En cambio en Persia la ciudad era moderna contaba con servicios sanitarios, ni de epidemias sufrían , era una ciudad acogedora Persopolis, Ectbana, Susana y otras ciudad. Pero este imperio tenía una debilidad , su debilidad era por qué no estaba bien definida las reglas de sucesión al trono, fue esto lo que lo llevo a la ruina, cuando Alejandro Magno el Bárbaro invadió Persia ( El Rey Felipe II sabía de esa debilidad y preparo a su ejército para invadir Persia, Pero murió asesinado por su propio hijo Alejandro a insistencia de Olimpia). Triste recuerdo de Persopolis.

They were not empire builders but empire conquerors. Mongols had no clue about administrative systems and relied on Persian to look after it.

Persian empire was the biggest and first empire to control 27 nations from India to Egypt. Medians were cousin of Persians and before that we had many other empires like assyrians, Hittai, Babylonian, Egyptian. Madian in control of a small territory and not a wast imperial power!
