Man. To see Perry here after all his struggles in life is a wonderful sight to see.
Saturn was ahead of his time. His ring work was a amalgamation of styles. Suplexes,high flying and kicks.

James, you are absolutely killing it with the guests. Saturn was the mf'n man. During the monday night wars, my friends and I would pop like crazy every time we saw him. His moveset was so unique and his work was so crisp (and snug). Great to see him.
Always great to see Perry Saturn! One of the most underrated wrestlers of all time. He looks healthy here too.

@@BabyMaharaja0 Lol. No. The Flock was a total non-issue in WCW . Nobody cared. It's best shown with Raven's US Championship "reign" which lasted 1 (ONE!) day. And the Radicalz performed so badly, they got broken up after just a few months, were they accomplished absolutely nothing. And later on Eddie became the lowest drawing WWE Champion of all time. Benoit is one of the 10 worst drawing Champions of all time as well, while Malenko and Saturn never did anything of note. Despite all the hype before their debut. Total failure, which in the end proved everybody at WCW, who said, they aren't a big loss, right.

Saturn is a great guest and a truly good hearted guy. So happy to see he's now clean and healthy. The business really did him dirty too so he deserves a second chance so I'm happy to see him doing interviews etc. He'd be great asset to up and coming wrestlers too for learning and advice. If he continues to stay clean, WWE or Aew should hire him to work with young talent. I don't mean in a physical sense necessarily as I know he's not physically able to train others anymore but more just verbal coaching etc
Was a fan of Perry when him and Kronus were doing The Eliminators tag team. The feud with The Gangstas was over big time . The Weapons Cage Match was 1 of my favorite matches from ECW. Could watch that over and over and never get tired of it . Underrated in WCW and WWF imo . Glad to see he's doing well.
I thank god he’s still with us all, that’s all that matters the most, would of loved to see DDP pursuing with him with DDP YOGA
GREAT TO SEE PERRY DOING WELL!!!!!
You can tell that despite the hard times and some bad decisions, Perry is a really bright guy. His speech sometimes struggles to convey it, but you can tell when he talks about understanding the psychology of wrestling and how to work with difficult guys and have them believe that his idea is "their" idea. It's great to see him doing well.
The Eliminiators vs The Gangstas was a great feud in ECW in 1996 and some of the first matches I got to see of ECW on VHS. New Jack said the same thing as Saturn that in their matches he would pair up with Kronus and Mustafa would go with Saturn.
Perry is the man. Hell of a worker. Glad to see him doing well.
Perry is honest and shoots in on interviews
Perry looks so much better than he did few years back. He's one of my favorites. I'm so happy that he's alive and well.
If he visited ddp, I would watch that documentary in the theaters. And donate.
Keep bringing Perry back. I find him to be truthful.
some WCW commentator maybe Henan maybe Tenay compared him to a gargoyle. I think that is a badass comparison. I marked when he showed up on Nitro as Raven's enforcer. First saw him in the Summer of 96 on ECW late night t.v. during the House of Pain "Jump Around" promos. glad he's still around when others from his generation didn't make it and knowing he had his struggles makes it even sweeter that he is a survivor.

Saturn was trained by Kowalski who did state in his syllabus "what do do if someone shoots on you". He taught his guys catch wrestling to defend themselves. I think new jack or bam bam would have been messed up shooting saturn.
@furnitureconsortium
Ай бұрын
Saturn also brought real-life skills from being an Army Ranger into his training at Kowalski’s. Dude knows how to take care of himself. Even his skills are no match for Haku, from Perry’s own lips…..”Tonga would kill us all with his bare hands and there’d be nothing we could do about it”
@lewisb85
Ай бұрын
@@furnitureconsortium The only two pro wrestlers I could ever see fighting haku and winning would be Sakuraba (sakuraba like ken shamrock a pro wrestler who fell into MMA by accident) and Josh Barnett. Both come from that billy robinson school of pro wrestling, I see sakuraba more than barnett, he beat 3 gracies through skill and sheer willpower alone, his fight with cro cop he was up and ready to go again after the ref stopped the fight. Haku was only the toughest guy in the bar, sakuraba was the toughest guy in the world.
@kevthegoat8774

@@lewisb85Barnett would have definitely beat Haku and Sakuraba. Barnett would have been too big for Sakuraba and too skilled for Haku. I watched these couple clips with Saturn and they are great. He comes across as very genuine and down to earth. I don’t know the full details on the story, but I heard he was on very very bad times a little while ago. It’s great to see that he is seemingly doing much better now and hopefully he is with us for a very long time.

Glad to see Perry seems to be doing well. Likable and funny with a good heart.
Perry is a great interview
I know saturn from his wcw flock days (kinda cool faction back in those days as a kid) and eventually his singles run,very solid in the ring.
Really interesting that he had heat with Bam Bam Bigelow, came down to a difference of styles
Saturn is a good interview
New jack , was uncontrollable.
Eliminators were so underrated.
Good to see Saturn so lucid and doing well. The last I heard of him was that he was suffering from CTE and full blow, early onset dementia. After listening to a few of these clips, this is not a man suffering from full blown dementia. I don't know what the deal was. Misdiagnosis..overly medicated for other ailments...or what...? But he seems pretty good. There is no doubt that he does/could have CTE, just like the majority of wrestlers will eventually have. ...as they take decades of blows to the head. But he seems really good. Good for him. Of all of the famous wrestlers we watched, Saturn has had some of the highest highs and the lowest lows in his life. It is good to see him appearing to be relatively healthy and happy.
@NoneofYabiz-rx3zi

There's no way to know if someone has CTE as long as they're still alive. It can only be diagnosed after death.
❤ you Perry, thanks for your contribution to wrestling.. and U were always my guy in WCW/NWO Revenge... I was Literally unbeatable playing as you bro 👍
More Perry videos, Please.
Perry is an Icon in the business from being an AMAZING team wrestlers with The Late John Kronus i. The Eliminators with hands dowñ one of the Best Tag Team Finishers. To being an all around worker who could fly an do technical an power moves should have been a World Champion at least once. He's been though alot he save a person an almost lost his life hes been homeless man Perry Saturn truly deserves all his flowers MUCH RESPECT ❤❤🙏
He sounds pretty good.
Perry reminds me of Billy Jack😊 now
Imagine how much TK would have feared for his life everyday if he was in the ECW locker room.
I'm going to wait until the full shoot is out to watch these segments. Can't wait.
Fuckin love you, Perry!
Interesting that Bam Bam didn't want to bump for Perry cause he was such a big guy, but he had no issues bumping his ass off for Taz. I guess it could have been cause Taz was a world champion, or maybe he just got along better with Taz.
@slthjawa5062
Ай бұрын
I'm guessing it's because Taz was an established main eventer and Saturn was pretty much nobody. Which makes sense because in those days a mid card guy had no chance against the top guys. That's why 123 kid was such an upset against Razor Ramone. That's also why the hurricane vs the rock was wrong in every sense. Hurricane should have been finished if the rock so much as looked at him funny.
@MonoGrinded
Ай бұрын
@@slthjawa5062 Yeah , if this was ECW times Idk if he was necessarily a nobody, the, Eliminators did squash a lot of other teams and were pretty over. I guess tag team was seen as way below main eventers even so. Maybe he moreso meant during their WCW time which is the only record I can find of them actually wrestling each other. Saturn was a 3 time WCW tag team champion but his reigns were a lot shorter then in ECW. I don't know much about his WCW run in general but I don't think it was that dominant compared to his ECW run (could be wrong)

A stark reminder to anyone reaching their lowest in life that Drugs destroy us all REGARDLESS of wealth fame or fortune. And I'm sure Perry would be the first to agree. And while it is a blessing to see him rise from this somewhat healthy, albiet his best years behind him with age thrown into the mix. It just shows that we are all human beings and can fall. If your at that lowest in your life, seek help before you seek drugs because the biggest lie you are told is that nobody cares.
