I use a lot of Perricone MD products. They are amazing. Sure, expensive, but I'd rather use my money on skincare and having perfect skin and having to use less makeup. ;)

Acyl Glutathione contains the controversial ingredient dimethyl MEA. Also known as DMAE, this ingredient is controversial because research has shown conflicting results. It seems to offer an initial benefit that improves skin but these results are short-lived and eventually give way to destruction of substances in skin that help build healthy collagen (Sources: Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, November-December 2007, pages 711-718; and American Journal of Clinical Dermatology, Volume 6, 2005, pages 39-47). You’ll see a difference within a month or so, but over time skin will stop improving.

Perricone is AMAZING. The best "anti aging" brand around. I used to work in a place that sold it and it was like a cult brand, people would rebuy it religiously. We could see such amazing results on the regulars and they would rave about it constantly. The regular Cold Plasma range smells fishy but not so much the blue plasma.

This is a skin care line I have been interested in, since I too don't look a day over 14 ! Thanks for the first impression, am looking forward to the results review next.

Dr. Perricone products are a bit pricey, but definitely worth the investment. I LOVED your review. Some of his products do have a very slight undertone of "fish" odor due to the ingredients. He doesn't use perfumes to cover up the natural smell of his products which is awesome.

Your skin looks phenomenal!! I've been using Perricone products for several years and LOVE them. I've only come across one product that smelled faintly fish-like, but the smell disappeared in seconds...that was the Neuropeptide cream. I highly recommend the OVM...definitely tightens and smooths!

I'm delighted that these products didn't irritate your skin Sweetie, but you will love the Skin Recovery and Resist lines from Paula's Choice! I use my Skin Recovery Antioxidant Serum(retinol inclusive) on upper hooded eyelids and under my eyes, and in Winter I use the Skin Recovery Hydrating Mask as eye cream as Paula does. I love the Retinol Serum and moisturizers from these lines and I use PC BHA Liquid on my t-zone daily and either her 8% AHA Gel or 10% Resist AHA once or twice a Week.

Hi Wayne, it is the Cold Plasma, not the Blue Plasma that has the strange smell to it. It's actually the DMAE in the cold plasma (and the copper and DMAE in the eye cold plasma) that make it smell a little strange. I have used perricone on and off for many years, and I LOVE the acylglutathione eye serum, especially that I can use it on my lids. If you have pigmentation you should give the Vit C Ester a go too. Oh, and the cleaners are really nice on combination skin. I have used many, many high end brands of skincare and this has to be my favourite (close second are radical and chantecaille).

I got a sample at ULTA and dug the wrapper out of the garbage the next morning because I couldn’t believe how soft my skin was. Bought the products and I am so in love!! My under eyes are less crepey for sure! I also have a hollowing that seems to be less visible now. Probably from the hydration plumping up my skin.

I use Perricone MD moisturizer and eye cream. Although it is expensive, I haven't had a single zit or any skin irritation on my face for over 2 years and I have very sensitive skin. I rate these products extremely high and they are definitely worth the price.

Same. I'd been using oil-control primers and moisturizers and stuff and just recently realized I have combination skin now. Strange how those things change, no complaining, significantly less breakouts!

Hiya Wayne, have a go at the eye cream they're all going on about....it's mean to blow Obagi out the water. Neocutis Lumiere bio restorative. I got mine on Amazon and love it - made a huge difference! I was looking for a new eye cream and it was that or the Obagi but went for the Neocutis as loads of plastic surgeons recommend it. I use all of those Perricone products. I tried the Cold Plasma, and it REALLY has a fishy odor. The Perricone rep at Sephora even warned me about it. He said it would fade once the product was on my skin, but it never did. I have never detected an odor from the blue plasma. I'm 55 and these products have really made a difference in my skin. Expensive yes-but worth every penny to me.

I've been using derma e firming DMAE with ALA and C-ester for a couple weeks now and my bad eczema is almost completely resolved. I hope to see an improvement in firmness and diminishment of wrinkles in the future. It has been only a short period of time, but this is the first cream to give me any relief!

Hi Wayne bit of an off topic question but I've been using the kat von d foundation and I'm wondering if you could tell me what moisturiser is should use? The foundation is oil absorbing but it works nicely with my dry skin the first couple of ingrediants are Water, Dimethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Polysilicone-11, Butylene Glycol,

I have used the Clinique 3 step system for 6 years now. I have mostly oily skin, and use the facial soap for that. My skin is soft, hydrated, usually free from acne and excessive oil. I will sometimes use more hydration in a gel form (Clinique only) if needed. However, they do not have an eyelid serum...so if I have some extra cash this would be an option!

Dr. Perricone used to make a Cold Plasma D for your eyes, but I cannot find it anymore, and it worked. However, the Perricone deep crease serum is no good for me, but it might work for other people. I am beginning to get nasolabial folds and wanted to avoid injections if possible, but it seems I am going to get some Juvederm.

They are amazing, yes.

Love Perricone products, would recommend that you use the Nutritive Cleanser with your Clarisonic. I also use the Firming Face Activator and the Perricone daily moisturiser. Don't know if you've checked out QVC UK website for prices and they also sell sets of products which can work out cheaper in the long run.

I would love to try this product as I'm in the market for new skin care but it's a little above my budget. I might try the eye cream but I'm very skeptical of eye creams. I've used so many over the years, high end & inexpensive brands & I didn't notice any difference. I have noticed my skin change too & I have had to change my skin care routine. & It does change in Summer & Winter. I still haven't found a brand that I love or swear buy. One thing I don't like is companies putting fragrance in skin care.I'm still on the search for products to suit my budget & work.

Any suggestions for those of us with atopic eczema? I'm already watching my diet (no dairy and no processed meats) and I've switched to all fragrance free cleansers from soap and I'm moisturizing. I'm also taking some supplements: evening primrose oil, olive leaf extract, fish oil, and magnesium. I have not had to go back to the steroidal creams for several weeks, I only just developed the condition in october. I'm 35 years old, female, have naturally fair skin, but because I'm part Cherokee, I'm aging well. I'm looking for a simple make up routine that I can wear to work at my job in construction (so not too obvious, subtle is the name of that tune.) I don't have eczema on my face but I do have dry skin. My Dr. says that vit. e is good for my face. Any suggestions are welcome.

The No Concealer Concealer and No Foundation Foundation they do are pretty good too :)

I am just starting Perricone skin care sytem ! So far, within a 24 hour period, I am liking this very much. I realize it will probably take 30 days to see results, but I love the way my skin is feeling with these products already. It feels so moist now than before.

I thought Catherine Hirons said not to apply eye cream last and to apply it before moisturizer. I get so confused on when to apply what to my sensitive dry skin

I think in the long run we should spend more on skincare than makeup. One can slow the appearance of aging and the other only covers it.

Paulas Choice BHA 2% just did nothing with my skin. So disappointing :-( Seems like, just nothing works on my skin.

Haven't used him in years but I used to watch Dr.P on PBS and I started taking DHEA, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid supplements daily.( along with my Andreww Lewssman Co-Q 10).. I think they worked better than his creams. Especially taking the hya, you'll notice plumper lips and a smoothness to the face. I feel a combo off all the vitamins is actually less expensive than just one of his creams.

I finally took the plunge and bought Perricone products. You can now get them thru a infomercial and I did a monthly budget if I were to buy all products and decide it by 12 months and it's considerably less. They have been really good for my 53 y/o skin. I've always taken very good care of my skin, so I'm told it looks younger. I want it to stay that way so I will continue with these products for now. (BTW I have dry skin, always have)

How does that program work and how much does it cost?

I have been using paula's choice for a while now, because of you, and i love it. But i also use avene products and they are lovely as well. I want to get charlotte tilbury magic cream next, real soon, like right now :)

I really like the eyelid serum and noticed it has smoothed out my eyelids-I'm 37. The blue plasma and deep crease serum are just ok to me. My blue plasma does smell a little fishy but I don't notice it long. Other perricone products have had a stronger fish smell to me. I have really become a fan of Dr. Gross Skincare line lately.

Help...I'm confused. Is this your new daytime routine, if so when do you use sunblock? Or are you switching this out at night instead of Retin A? Your skin looks great, but I have to say it always does.

Yes I believe you Perricone❤ MD is amazing..I used a lot beauty products and expensive too but not works..but PERRICONE MD is amazing...

I use blue plasma and have noticed the smell. It's probably because the active ingredient (urea) is derived from urine. In cosmetics it tends to come from pregnant mares. It's an effective ingredient and is available as a prescription in cream form here in the US; although the percentage is higher.

If we have skin like yours and you see improvement then perhaps we should try. I have combo/aging skin and did not notice any difference with the cold plasma products. I have not tried other Perricone, but I have followed his diet, which does help with sagging and puffiness!

Dear Wayne you always look good your skin looks wonderful as always. Just make sure you don't stop your Retinoid products as well that ingredient is really the only one that is Medically endorsed for helping with ageing and wrinkles . Yes the Perricone is good for Hydration but hydration plus Retin A is a wonderful combination . I'm male too and I've tested so many product lines you would be gob smacked .i do have a few Hero Secret products I'm in the Uk too so if you ever want to try any other bits let me know I will send you a few bits . I have blue plasma & it smells. I'm not sensitive to smell but blue plasma really does smell off putting & makes me not want to use it.

I love the perricone too it's crazy expensive but it works! I got the blue plasma the cold fusion set the toner is amazing after the blue plasma...I've got the deep crease lov that the moisturizer I spent a lot too but it works only thing it's plumps and firms very well but I find my face very sticky all day tacky does that make sense? I started using the Perricone products about 2-3 weeks ago also and I have definitely noticed a difference, skin is softer and more hydrated, puffiness under my eyes is looking better. My skin s more on the dry side,and it is definitely more hydrated. This is the first time with a skin care I have actually noticed a change that was obvious. Im loving them. Im using Blue Plasma, Blue Plasma Orbital, Cold Plasma and Cold Plasma eye, plus the Cold Plasma sub D and the Face Finishing moisturizer. I only notice the fishy smell in the Cold Plasmas, its from the active fishy ingredients and it goes away very very quickly. No smell in the Blue plasma at all.

I use the Blue Plasma myself, and love it. Mine smells like fish, but the smell goes away super fast. This item isnt in my budget at all, but found that my skin is in such great shap that I was able to cut out a few other things. Thanks for the (as always) awesome video. :)

Plasma line is the one that has a weird smell. I just purchased some plasma anti aging creams. I just put it on tonight for the first time and it smells very fishy. Smells like rubbing hot fish oil all over your face. Yet, the product feels like very good quality. Thanks for the review. w

Please help! I have lost quite a bit of weight. Did it slow and lifted weights to minimize the extra skin issue. The big problem is that I have some skin under my chin. Looks like a turkey wattle! ick!

He did this video on it but I didn't see a demo. I've seen him demo it before but I can't recall the video at the moment but I think it was mixed in with a few other foundations...this one was only for Immaculate.Look for- A FOUNDATION THAT CAN HEAL ACNE...?

eye cream should be used before moisturiser, right after serum

I hate that perricone gets over looked a lot, and at my store is constantly expired so customers don’t get to really try it

The Face Finishing Moisturiser by Dr Perricone is amazing, it made my skin really soft and I noticed that some of my ance scars faded. Unfortunately it cost so much :(

Hope there is review on murad products as well.

i am a huge fan if Kiehls -esp the ((mid night recovery )) 100% of everyone i told about it said IF THEY go one day with out they see it--fine lines gone deep lines less eye area softer plumper-sun spots faded- (i know my face is firmer) its all i use. (i am 57-med dry skin) if that helps.x shelly

I changed my skincare completeley. I'm using products called SKINN by Dimitri James. It's only available via TVSN Australia or his website. SKINN products contain all natural product ingredietnts NO WATER, which the majority of skincare that is availalble now contain, whether its high end or budget. they are all the same. The answer to your question NO expensive is not better. Having worked as a consultant for various cosmetics houses many, many years ago and also using their products, they were great at the time but not fantastic But I still luv ya Wayne:) PS: I'm 52 years young

Cold plasma has a strong marine fragrance, blue plasma isn't as bad :)

I used the under eye cream as I have insomnia and that alone was causing my under eyes to wrinkle much faster than I wanted but the eye cream has smoothed out the sagging eye bags and wrinkles! I too highly recommend this product. I wondered if it had worked for anyone else. Thanks for reviewing Perricone. Btw, I have extremely dry and sensitive skin and this product neither irritated it or increased dryness. :)

I use that eye cream too (the hypoallergenic one). It's wonderful. Due to allergies, I've always had very deep dark circles around my eyes and after years of trying different products and concealers, Perricone creams have really improved that condition. I used to use this eye cream together with the cold plasma eye, but as I also use the no concealer concealer on a daily basis, I have seen that the cold plasma has not been that necessary.

I have horrible reactions to Perricone products -- dry eyes, sinus infections, migraines, etc. When they first hit the market (approx 15 years ago), I loved the products because they worked. Then something changed (their formulation or my hormones) and I started reacting to them. So I stopped using them. I weaken and try a new product every couple of years, love the effect, but just can't tolerate the reactions for very long.

From what you said you are 35 yrs old. At 35 my skin was perfect without any special care.

Anyone interested in trying perricone products, I've seen them featured on Ideeli at a discounted price. If you're patient enough I'm sure they'll be featured again soon.
