Great video. After the deposition of metal contact (as cathode), conductive silver paint was used to serve as a electrical contact? Any problem if we use silver paint? please comment

Wow, its good, How could be environmental control as used with out G lave-box? and also how could used ZnO - layer for ETL, give in detail.

How does perovskite solar cell work ? Is it like DSSC solar cell ?

Solar cells are great. Need a way to implement this on wearables.

Well done ! What is their efficiency and how log will they hold about in strong solar light ? Can this process be made Open Source so one can have a selfmade solar cell ? If these are just 1 % efficient and can be made at home with cheap materials solar energy would really take off ! Please Open Source it.. Many thanks.

overunitydotcom I think 10% is the typical value now. Making perovskite solar cells is not a secret and it's just a matter of taking a look at some recent publications. The biggest hurdle is the fact you need a clean room environment to fabricate these to any decent level of quality.

Hey Ben, let me know if you ever find the answer to that, or a better answer in general, ok?

Of course. Educate Yourself freely. There's more information online than in any world University.

this video shows the perovskite-making process in better detail: kzread.info/dash/bejne/laZ118mDiKqZgaQ.html You can do most of those things with simple hacked together machines at home except for maybe the 10^-6 Torr vacuum sputtering metal coating part (which maybe you could do in a simpler way, like drawing on electrodes with conductive ink pen for PCB's www.intertronics.co.uk/product/silver-conductive-pen-silver-flex-conductive-pen-nickel-conductive-pen). See kzread.info/dash/bejne/aWl10bmlY83Ok7Q.html for a fantastic D.I.Y. vacuum system that goes down to that level.

does this mean that there is no need of nitrogen filled glove box & dry air box for deposition and annealing purposes. Please Comment

It is only for the demo purpose, when it comes to the real devices, then there is a need of controlling the oxygen and humidity level so you have to switch in to the glovebox. However, 2D/3D perovskites the hybrid combination may be used and device fabrication may be done in the ambient atmosphere but still the films will not be that much high quality and the device efficiency will be lesser.
