Perovskite Crystal Structure

In this video I provide an overview of the atomic positions within the perovskite or barium titanate crystal structure. I describe the coordination number of the "A" and "B" cations, and also look at the arrangement of the anions.

What's the software used to draw the structure? And can I find a similar video for spinel structure like this? ps. I liked the video. Thanks

Very good explanation, but would have caused less confusion if you had removed the ions in the structure which you didn't refer to. But thank you for taking the time to explain the Perovskite crystal structure.

so depending on how you draw the unit cell (whether Ti is in the center or Ba is in the center). Ti will either have CN=12 or CN=6... thats confusing. Is Ti always in the center of the unit cell?

Super nice but I don't get the CN of oxygen... How can A Cation bond to Oxygen to give CN = 12, but Oxygen only gets CN = 2 although it should touch all the adjacent A cations (verse visa) so why does Oxygen get only CN = 2
