Awesome experiment!
Great experiment - stains/inks can take a very long time to dry thoroughly and can vary according to the paper/ medium you use on the paper. An easy way to seal art is to brayer/paint a thin layer of your chosen sealant onto a gel plate or a plastic surface and and then press your art onto it, or lift the plate/ plastic onto your art. If a second coat is needed you can repeat or you may get away with brushing the sealant on.

Yes I really need this. Not that I do a lot of doodling. Haha . But I have always wondered this. It would be great to have a chart to reference
