Eesti esimene täismahus permakultuuri sertifikaadi kursus toimub oktoobris 2011. Permakultuur (ingl k permaculture tuleneb sõnadest perma-nent ja agri-culture) on jätkusuutlike elukeskkondade kujundamise süsteem, eeskujuks looduslike ökosüsteemide toimimine.
Õpetajaks Albert Bates, kes on tunnustatud permakultuuri ja asjakohaste tehnoloogiate õpetaja ning üks rahvusvahelise ökokogukondade liikumise alusepanijatest. Blogi: peaksurfer.blogspot.com.
