During a recent holiday, I took my children back to the countryside, right across from the port of Kuala Perlis. This place is where I grew up, and I wanted them to experience kampung life - to see the chickens and ducks in the village, to see the rice fields, and to watch the rice harvester in action.
The wooden houses in the fishing village have undergone a gorgeous transformation, turning into a colorful Malay village! With a fresh coat of colorful paint, what was once an old and quiet fishing village suddenly became vibrant and full of life as the Rainbow Fishing Village. Today, it has even become a new photo spot in Kuala Perlis port.
This time, I just wanted to capture the wonderful moments of their childhood. If you have friends going to Perlis, they might want to check out this spot!
