Perkons HD-01 | A Melodic moment

Decided to take a break from the norm and attempt to coax some Melodic Ambient notes from this aggressive unit. I think it came out very different than the norm. I used the latest Firmware to program notes. C minor with my Keystep Pro helped prep the internal Perkons sequencer (see my firmware video). I then used the Odds functions to break away from the 1 bar limit. Vongon is so good at giving stuff a little nostalgia.

    Taming rien du tout le mec tournes les potards un peu au pif ça se voit il hésites souvent sans trop savoir ce qu’il va se passer. Le seul truc peut-être pas aléatoire qu’il a fait et je dis bien peut être c’est la séquence elle même.

    Incredible work mate, you have a talent. As an owner of one of these I know how unusual it is to get this kind of sound from the machine ;) What a beast it is though. Love my perkons.

    Thank you very much! Thats a very encouraging comment. Those synth voices turned out to be simpler than i thought once i started playing the notes in to the Perkons sequencer. It starts to feel like a proper connection. I dont think i could do this without the new firmware. And congrats on your Perkons!

    that's great . I have one, and have been thinking of trying to do something like this. I have all the outs separate, so I don't get to use the built in delay, and I forgot how good it sounds. great job on this patch.

  • @Noise-Maker

    Thanks! I forget about the internal Delay sometimes myself. It has so much to give. I like FX pedals with stereo and a Mix setting. Then having the main outs going to the Pedals. This way i can use the sends knob on each voice to the internal delay. The internal delay can really change each voice. And when that outputs to your main outs into a pedal chain its bliss :)

    Checked a few demos on this thing and to be honest was pretty underwhelmed with all the ones I saw, they all used to for really nasty, not very good sounding percussion. But this is, without a doubt, the best showcase I've seen on this thing so far!

    Can you easeley switch into drum-mode whilst playing live!?

  • @Noise-Maker

    @Noise-Maker

    Күн бұрын

    Well, this isn't a mode. It's only adjusting the voices and then tuning the notes. However, if you wanted to change a performance like this straight to a percussion sequence you can. You select a new pattern that's tied to a kit. This can happen instantly.
