Love seeing you guys just hang out ! Erik, that moment you started measuring the random door reminded me of a time I worked for a large Australian boat builder. During the GFC we had some layoffs, and they found a guy that for more than 5 years never had an official position. His day to day life was to just show up with a tool belt and randomly walk from job to job, shed to shed with a clipboard and tape and randomly check things like it was his job. He was paid every week to do nothing for 5 years and not a single person ever noticed.....!

I lived there thirty five years ago construction was booming got my first construction job I was about fifteen. At the dam there's a little plaque to commerate a little dog that showed up when they started work on the dam the guys adopted the dog and he traveled to work and back to their shacks everyday
