That is a GREAT little diesel engine.

Not too far from where I live is a dual-fuel irrigation pump which uses one of these engines. It burns approx. 1/2 diesel fuel and 1/2 natural gas injected directly into the intake.

I have a 6.354.4 in the shed,did 10000hrs and never had a spanner on it (outlived the rear of the tractor) fantastic engine,only fault was poor cold starting.

could you get me some numbers for that bell housing? I have done a number of these swaps and have always heard of the mythical bell housings to match different transmissions. ....But alas, I end up building a new custom unit in house every time. I'm currently working on mating a T6.354 to an Eaton/Fuller 13 speed. Thanks for any info....

Yes, it is an adaptor plate to suite the particular type of starter motor. It is attached with allen headed studs recessed into the adaptor plate..

You have no idea no nuts the applications the 6354 was used in. It's only 354 ci. What you want it to do? Fly a 747?
