Honestly watching Matt play through this song comforts me so much. Every time I watch this video, and hear the music, I feel a sort of comfort and reassurance I don’t feel in many other places. Following his Instagram, he sits in barrels of ice which has a deeper meaning for him. it’s so interesting how humans are. His facial expressions in this are wild, and to some random person they’ll see just wild faces, but those who connect with this video see hours and hours of being uncomfortable in your own skin, and hours of practicing behind the kit, where eventually you just don’t care how you look. You find comfort through the music you make. Matt, if you read this, just know that your anxiety can’t control you anymore. I see this video and I am reminded that I too can face my own demons. My own anxiety. Thank you. For all that you and the guys in Periphery do. I am excited for the new music.

as drummer My self i gotta Say: This is one of the best cymbals sounding i'v ever heard in My entire life. (1. the taste he has to play 'em 2. those mics that gets awsome enviroment sound and 3. the Quality of the cymbals in self) i love the band, i love the song and i did enjoy this playthrough. amazing "right to My fav things box"

Such an incredible piece. It's hard to imagine writing drum parts to specific songs any more perfectly than Matt seems to do consistently. I wonder how much thought is put in to the writing away from the kit versus like jamming to a feeling. It feels so organic like that's just what his body automatically wants to do, and like it doesn't take a lot of thought. Homie is a groove monster.

Amazing drums, amazing mix, amazing song, amazin atmosphere, amazing vocals. This song is just all out amazing. One of the best Periphery songs of alltime. All musicians are frontmen in their own right here. Especially the 3:30 drum build up is some great writing, how the intensity increases in a very creative and dynamic way. Most drummers would not have written such a creative buildup for sure. Matt FTW. The big question, how the FK is Periphery gonna best Hail Stan, and WHEN :)

The most intresting part of this playthough, for me atleast, has to be the "calm before the storm" at 3:25. The way he plays with an idea, and plays around with it, evolving it into something complex. It´s amazing, the whole thing!
