Literally just play. Jam with yourself for hours without thinking. That's the space you want to be in. Not thinking. Just feeling and doing. Think about it as a form of talking or speaking. Also record stuff too

I’ve done drum covers of periphery songs, vocal covers of periphery songs and guitar covers of periphery songs. They’re my favorite band. I gotta say I’m kinda pissed I’m not in this just cuz I had to spend all my money on an 8 string instead of video equipment. I mean I even cover Stranger Things...all the way through...with no cuts. My former drummer recently gaslighted drama between myself and my collab partners, resulting in burnt bridges with my connections, so I had to make a difficult decision to take down the collab cover we did last year.
