I went to this show in Tampa last night and thought it was best show I’ve ever seen. However!! Sure wish I could come see the entire band of Periphery. LOL
This was an amazing show part way through he broke the cordless mic.

Mark left their last UK tour early and is not on this tour because he is dealing with a family matter.

@@kyle.looney "family matter" being a lying douche is the real issue at hand.

So would unplugging their wedges, so that's just a weird argument. A band is touring for however many months playing tons of shows. Then they do it again, and again and again for decades if they're lucky. Monitors are loud. Human ears simply cannot keep up with that prolonged SPL exposure forever. IEM's protect your hearing by not having wedges blasting at you as well as make it easier to play tighter because the room has much less effect on your monitoring. They can also move around to wherever they want without losing their ability to hear themselves the second they step out of where the cone in the wedge is blasting. So the audience likely gets a better show, and the bandmembers get to hopefully keep their hearing into old age. The cool guy points aren't worth being deaf.
