cant deny the print quality is better than I thought it would be! actually might get one

People, the term 'A4' has NOTHING to do with whether or not a paper will work with a thermal printer. 'A4' is ONLY referring to the size, which is a bit LONGER than 11 inches and not as wide as 8.5 inches.

Thank you for this review. It helped me made up my mind. I purchased the mini version almost a year ago, and it's still working wonderfully. I was seriously considering purchasing this version, and now I'm definitely gonna. I absolutely LOVE not having to deal with ink. The battery lasts a long time too 💯 recommended product

Just got one yesterday, it's thin, maybe just 2 gas receipts together. But thinner than regular ink paper

I have one and there is some fickle issues with it. Such as it will only accept A4 rolls and sheets. And the paper curl with the roll can be very annoying to deal with as it doesn't want to flatten even rolled the opposition direction. Now when feeding sheets there is a trick and routine that needs to be discovered otherwise it feeds the page too far and starts printing in the middle

I have one and it accepts different sizes of roll paper and 4x6 labels. There are little plastic guides you move.

In my experience, strong curling is only an issue with PeriPage brand-name rolls. Buy standard fax thermal paper rolls and prints won't curl. A slight problem is that all the standard rolls for faxes have a larger diameter than the slot in this printer. This problem is solved by either printing with a roll laying outside, or discarding some length of paper until it fits inside, or re-spooling. I've found 35 mm diameter rolls that almost fit, so not much has to be discarded (the printer accepts up to 32 mm diameter roll).

Can you print from a pc or only from the mobile app?

The rolls PeriPage sells curl strongly, however standard fax rolls have no such issue. I pring on third-party thermal paper rolls and they do not curl.

No. Only thermal papers like in a card payment machine or a fax machine.

does this paper also gets damaged by heat? like the tickets you get from stores, I once too taped it to the wall and it erased the printing... does that happens with this paper too?

as any thermal paper, heat damages the paper. thermal paper isn't meant to last long (unless you are super cautious and keep the paper in a dark dry place, even then, it's not guaranteed to last long. just take a look at credit card receipts that you kept for months, the printing vanishes over time.

So the thermal printer is ink free and toner free so what are the consumable parts in it that need replacing instead of ink cartridges? Is there a transfer roll of some sort? Also does this printer work with apple products?

This uses thermal technology which is a heated printhead that applies that heat to a ribbon, melting ink onto the thermal paper. There is no replacement parts needed, all you need to do is purchase the thermal paper. ordinary paper won't work.

You can but you'd have to buy a longer fax roll, feed it from outside the printer, wait for half an hour for that many pages to print, and they will come out as one long scroll (usable in my taste, but you'd feel yourself an ancient Roman reading it). So it's recommended to use a better stationary printer if you can.

Why don't they make a 300 dpi version?! They have 300 dpi versions for every other size besides the big one. Paperang's 8 inch printer is 300 dpi

The A40+ is a 300dpi version which I think is the blue one.

Does anyone else have an issue w/ printing tattoo stencils? Mine keeps printing for literally a second & says its done when OBVIOUSLY it hasnt even printed a quarter of the tattoo

I don’t own one but maybe see if the manual has instructions to recalibrate it, thermal printers are sensitive to light & temperature

Only if you buy PeriPage branded paper rolls. Third-party fax rolls costs several times less, also they do not fit into the slot but can be re-spooled.

no. as any other thermal printer that uses paper rolls, you can print super large lengths limited only by the length of the paper roll itself.

This is a fantastic gadget if you need a mobile printer in your bag. Ink doesn't last on thermal papers, good luck reprinting everything 2 years in, oh and hope you don't scratch the paper because hell will it leave a mark
