Got a few of your fragrances in 10ml size. Unreal, blows away any other fragrances I've tried or owned. Will 100% be using your brand for all my fragrances from now on.

Great to see Aaron liking this! I loved it too when I tried it on in Sephora. But if I would get everything I like smelling, how would I wear them all? So many beautiful scents in this fragrance world, but I feel that every time I add a new fragrance in my collection I less appreciate the ones I had up to that point, by giving them less wearing time and less attention. You need to draw the line at some point and just enjoy what you have.

Totally hear you. When I first started my collection last year, I quickly realized that same point, that I shouldn't just buy full bottles of everything that I liked. My rule now is that I'm sticking to 15 total bottles: 3 for each season, and then 3 year-round/versatile scents. If/when I decide on my 15, if I find something new that I really thing I must have, I have to replace something else in the line. I'll still buy 5-10mL decants of specialty scents, but this is how I'm limiting things.

@@misterbeane doing the exact same. 15 is more than enough and I can switch it up anytime depending on the seasons. There are some I want, but I have what I feel is a year round collection.

Great honest review Aaron. This is the reformulated version and better version of the EDT. The original formulation was more tanny, like you said of the EDP.

This is a good, honest review. I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually prefer the EDT over the EDP. I find the apple note in the EDP too piercing...I hardly wear it. I like this EDT, though.

love the ysl y dna. went to both ends of the scale and got a 200ml of the le parfum for going out and the colder weather and got 2 60ml's of the edt (was on offer at boots last week for half price at £29 each) for work, warmer weather and the gym. got bored of sauvage and ended up giving mine away but struggle to see me getting bored of the ysl y line. excited to smell the new ysl y edp intense

The quality of the audio, transitions and video improve every single video. Top.

I quite like this fragrance, had a try in a shop a while ago. Glad it's so cheap. I'll get some signs made up to advertise this fact and send them to the various food banks in Lincoln.

Yves Saint Laurent are great at fresh, clean fragrance I especially like L Homme from YSL.

The EDP is nicer. Layered with Molecule 04 it is stunning. The javanol (sandalwood) adds a smooth, longer lasting woody dry down

Picked up a 200ml edp - what a beast. Very clean and fresh.

Is anyone else just putting on the video on an extra screen just for his calming voice?

I had a Y EDP sample and liked it, but ordered the Y EDT because it was on special and was disappointed when it arrived and I tried it (I like the EDP better but didn't know it because hadn't tried the EDT).

I like this one better than the edp, it's just not as harsh.

Should have gone edp. It’s so much better. More well rounded, more balanced, more versatile. Edt you can only wear in the summer. Edp you can wear all 4 seasons day or night any occasion.

I know I will like this because it has that ethyl maltol whippin' through the base.

As Givenchy is my favourite brand, I believe you have only reviewed Gentleman EDP and Reserve Privée. Please can you review Gentleman Intense (EDT Intense as full name)? While it is an EDT, I have found that it lasts a long time on my skin and would be interested to find out, how it performs for you.

Finally got round testing Reserve Privée yesterday, enticed by the chestnut, woods, whiskey and amber. Have to say, WAAAAY too much iris! You absolutely must be into iris to enjoy that fragrance. I left it hours hoping it would die back but it didn't. Not for me sadly, it's a very polarising note I'm surprised it's still used so strongly.

Love the review. Aaron do you have anything with Mango and your smooth skin accord? I’d love to experience that, because your frags are amazing experiences.

All of the concentrations project. I find the EDT to be more sharp than the EDP and Parfum, which are a little more rounded.

@@antoniosmith197 Most likley, because the OG formulation has been long sold out and the bottle and box has changes/new design. Athe beginning it was available parallely as Y EdT and Y EdT 2022 but as retailers sold it out they removed the old EdT and renamed the 2022. I doubt Aaron obtained an old formulation by now unless someone specifically send him the discontinued variant.

I gave away my ck one shock because this guy immediately blind rejected it.. I’m new to all of this; and a few days later I got gifted this.. I’m happy :)

Based on the box, I think Aaron has the original 2017 version which also has the lemon note that is apparently absent in the 2022 version. It has copped a lot of flack. If it is good enough for Aaron, it is good enough for me.

Nice video Aaron! YSL reformulated Y last year, with the genuine intention of empowering both the tenacity on the skin (up to 12 hours) and the projection, it was their declared purpose. I'd really love your comparison between the two formulation, i'm learning a lot from you!

@@darrunn good choice 😊 it was as low as £66 for the 90ml at one point a couple of months back. I’m sure they’ll put it on offer from time to time. I have some niche winter fragrances and yet I’d take Spicebomb Extreme over pretty much all of them.

I have the edp. It’s so much better. Any cologne I buy whatever house it’s from. Chanel, Ysl, etc, etc. I always buy the edp version. Never the edt version.
