I’ve had a bottle of Spicebomb since it first came out 10-12 years ago. I’m on my third bottle. I don’t think that performance has changed much over the years. It’s a great scent that still smells somewhat unique, even after a decade. Not near as sweet as most spicy fragrances today.

@@LoLeQ88 I figured it was about 10 years ago. My wife bought me a bottle when it first came out. I went through it pretty fast. I got a second bottle, and used about 70% of it and gave the rest of that bottle to someone who had complimented me about it. I’m now about 50-60% through my third bottle.

Thank you always wanted to get it but avoided because i heard it was not the same anymore. Have had victor rolf spice bomb extreme from 2019 and loved that and if Aaron's thinks its pretty good will defo by for my summer rotations.

I didn't like Spice Blend at all. But I love Rehab from Initio. I heard 1899 was really good as well. Or 1889 I forget lol.

Great review as always Aaron, I do enjoy the viewpoint from a perfumer. I like spicebomb but the spicebomb extreme is on another level, way more rich and lasts an incredibly long time on me. Smells like Christmas 🎄

Excellent review Aaron. SpiceBomb is one of my all-time favorites. Always keep a bottle since it's release. Absolutely love it.

Scent wise this is a masterpiece created by Olivier Polge the now head perfumer of Chanel and creator of Dior Homme (2005), D&G The One and Invictus...

​​​@@gipsaslThey are complete opposites. Both are equally as good. Both are equally as sweet. Both are completely different; The One is sweet and soft and Spice Bomb is equally but with cardamom and a "cedar tree" (Christmas) vibe. I have both. Viktor and Rolf is if you want that Christmasy and cardamom vibe; I use it year round.

This Perfume is one of the best formulations in perfumery. Absolutely perfection of Perfumerswork. It inspired me to make perfumes by my own also. Very brilliant Sillage and nice grapefruit undertone in the base from Nootkatone.

Gotta love how he educates and describes the scent. He and Redolessence are experts at that.

Nearly everybody hyping the extreme. For me, that's a vanilla heavy scent with way too much cumin in it. On my skin, that one works bad. The OG is another coffeeshop! It's a beautiful scent! One of my favorite from Olivier Polge. Aron! Keep up the good work, your videos, your attitude and your personality is something to cheer me up anytime!

ATH gives the most informative breakdowns of a fragrance. I am learning so much from you. As for Spicebomb, I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE!!!! It checks all the boxes for me!!! I have worn it for years. I have tried Spicebomb Night Vision and Spicebomb Infrared. They are just okay to me. The original Spicebomb is the best one!!!

Thank you for explaining "why" this is a spice bomb. It helps me understand how this smells so different from similar fragrances with the same claimed notes.

Hey Aaron, superb review as always! Have you considered reviewing sboy by draco? Its a parfume by the Brand of the rapper soulja boy and has generated a lot of social media hype. Its trying really hard to sell itself as a luxurious niche parfume. Its incredibly expensive tho and I‘d love to see a critical review of yours where you talk about the price and if it is justified in any way, just like you did with the Jeremy Fragrance scent Office for men. I loved the pure honesty ❤

I get great performance with this one. Almost a whole day with a fair amount of projection all the way.

For me this one lasts for two days with only three sprays, insane projection and longevity, guys and girls regularly complimented me on this one

I have the Spice Bomb Extreme EDP, wonderful projection and sweet/spice scent. Sort of reminds me of the Tom Ford Noir Extreme. I often choose between the two if I’m in that mood.

I was at the laundromat with my headphones on doing my laundry the other day, a woman tapped on my shoulder to tell me “Oh My God! you smell yummy!” I haven’t smelled the original but I was wearing Spice Bomb Extreme. I’ve gotten more compliments wearing that one than anything else. I’ve gotten the “yummy” compliment only from SBE even walking past women outdoors. It’s also the only one out of 30 or so fragrances that I’m well into my second bottle of. Banger for sure! 👍👍

sounds re formulated. I had a release bottle and was very heavy and strong, and more of a cinnamon feel to it. Think i will get a new bottle and try it myself, nice review pal.

I suggest you try Boucheron Jaipur next. It is the true ‘spicebomb’ in my opinion. And exceptional blend for an unbeatable price. Both EDT and EDP are fantastic but I slightly prefer the EDT.

I have all Spicebomb line + Jaipur edt and edp. To me the closest scent to SB is Histoires de Parfums 1899, more refined and better quality, absolutely amazing...

Have you tested Mancera Instant Crush? I am curious to know your thoughts on it.

It was reformulated 3 times. The first time it was reformulated was around june/july 2014. Then again in 2015 and again in 2018. First reformulation smellwise it is very much the same but weaker. 2015 reformulation is alot worse.

Never been much of a fan of this one. My favourite spicy fragrance for men is Opium pour Homme, so my standard for such fragrances is pretty high - I haven't come across one that beats it.

One of my favourite scents. I dont know what I'm smelling, I think its pink pepper, it is by far my favourite note. I only want pink pepper colognes now.

This isn’t my favorite but I’ve always thought of it as a brilliant piece of art

Hell ya The dry down on the edt is really freaking good

If you really like this one you should give a try to Initio - Rehab, It is the "niche" version that is longer lasting and thicker.

There was a scent..."1899" if I recall correctly...that "did Spice Bomb better than Spice Bomb." I own it and regret I can't recall the house/brand. But I felt it was much better. I appreciate you reading all that, I'm not sure how much you enjoy it (lol), but we do. And "wow," that was a load of information, it was fascinating. Mostly over my head, but it's still way-interesting. Huge Cheers!

Costa Azzura Acqua is my favourite bedtime scent 😆 light and refreshing. I think it’s discontinued so I probably shouldn’t use it all up when I’m not even conscious. I like Spicebomb too but don’t own it unfortunately. From what I remember it was quite similar to Bvlgari’s Man In Black and of course the brilliant Spicebomb Extreme.

Spice bomb extreme is my favorite. Maybe you would like that one more than the original.

For a moment there I thought he said "bergamot", had to rewind and listen again. Maybe one day...

I'm buying an oil version of it so hopefully more beast like 😊

The best perfume reviewer on KZread. Always enjoyable. Always educational. I liked Spicebomb a lot but I really think it's a less classy Chanel Egoiste which to me, is a stronger more sophisticated Spicebomb. Thanks for the review Aaron!

Its been reformulated badly unfortunately - I have a 2012 batch, its insanely good and powerful! Compared to the 2019 batch, its a shadow if its former self. Great review as always Aaron!!

This is the best Spicebomb and the only one made by Olivier Polge.

The blessing: The greatest and best smelling men fragrance in the world. The curse: It lasts 30 mins.

They should release original strong formulation as Vintage again.

Fun fact, if you buy their stuff they give you a card to scan. I initially thought oh here we go I'm going to be bombarded with crap for 12 months but they sent me a branded wash bag. Not that I needed one but still. They say they send you stuff if you buy further fragrances from them. Has anyone had stuff sent from them? Apparently they also send you stuff on your birthday too.

Spicebomb was created by Olivier Polge, son of Jacques Polge who created Égoïste. Is like a younger version of it.

It's very similar to Pure Havane or Pure Malt

This is a good scent... and I reach for it from time to time... I feel like it's success, like Aventus, is it's downfall ... I've smelt this on so many men

To me it smells like softer version of ideal extreme
