Please never ever use any other background music than the I C U by Sleepdebt! It’s just so perfect and has become a trademark and is synonymous to your channel! The vibes it gives along with your gestures and your voice is one of the biggest factors the viewers are drawn to you which makes your videos very entertaining to watch and also very comforting and relaxing. The other biggest factor of course is your knowledge and experience in perfumery and your beautiful character, I’d say in general you are a very kind and beautiful soul🙏😇❤️

I'm always happy to see Penhaligon's getting reviewed because it's often completely overlooked, even by our British reviewers. There's so many fabulous fragrances this house offers but for me there's 4 fragrances you need to know; HALFETI; SARTORIAL; ENDYMION CONCENTRE; and THE BLAZING MISTER SAM which is personally my favourite, it's the ULTIMATE gents scent and an absolute POWER house.

I love Monsieur Beauregard and Lord Georg as well. But I second Halfetti and Endymion Concentrait. But I want to add Junipersling and Luna for lighter and brighter sommer options.

Great to see you review a British house, Halfeti is one of the brands top sellers for a reason! 😊 I actually like the presentation simple but I think it works, the presentation is an ode to tradition, Penhaligon’s have been around since the 1800’s so while they are modern with the perfumery side, I think the presentation fits because they are remembering their heritage. They have lots of fragrances and some of their older discontinued fragrances are great, I actually really like Cornubia I think it was made in 1910! A personal favourite of mine from Penhaligon’s is Kensington Amber, lots and lots of cinnamon and amber!

Hi Aaron, I absolutely love your review. I agree with you that this has a very masculine tone to it. I consider myself a very feminine woman and yet I love wearing this stuff. Purely because it is quite puzzling and intriguing to do so. The quality of this fragrance is astonishing.

The first time I smelled this and Lord George was at Disney World of all places and I was INSTANTLY in love. The Duke, Lord George, and Halfeti were the ones I smelled there and I wanted all 3 of them right then and there but the price was a biiiit out of my range especially after being at Disney for the 2nd day lol but amazing house! Absolutely love them.

Always appreciate the breakdowns of the ingredients the way you do. It really helps me understand why i like certain things.

Try penhaligon's 'cairo' one of my favourite fragrances. Plus halfeti has other flankers such as 'Halfeti: cedar' and 'Halfeti: leather'.

My favourite fragrance in my collection performance is unbelievable and the projection is amazing

I’m fairly certain I read somewhere that the bottle and packing are still to the same specs as when they began in the 1860’s (I can’t find that information now though annoyingly, so I can’t say for sure). I love that this house has withstood all these years and still holds true to its roots. I am desperate to get my hands on a bottle of this and I’ll be visiting the shop in London as soon as I am able ✨

I like Halfeti, really want to get my nose on Halfeti Cedar it sounds even better! Also I think the packaging with the animla heads on many of their other bottles looks much more modern and attention grabbing to the average consumer

Finally!!! This house is sooo slept on. Gotta try “The Blazing Mr Sam”…… Super dope frag bro. I had a tester pack from the house and that was my fav. Juniper Sling and As Sawira are also flame. But my fav so far is Mr.Sam.

Another amazing Aaron review. You speak to me about fragrances in a way that I can comprehend. A good friend of mine does decants and actually has this one in stock. Going to have to get a 5 ml and put my nose on it. I recently got a decent of Amouage Interlude which I ADORED but my wife HATED. Thank God I didn’t blind buy it. 😁Hence why I do decants first.

@@baraw9305 I do, but only if you like Cedar cuz it does have a very strong Cedar scent to it obviously but to some it can be a little overpowering!

They made their first fragrance in 1872, and have barely changed their packaging in 150 years, that's why the bottle looks so old school.

OH AARON! I'm really pleased you've reviewed halfeti, I remember the LUXURY FRAGRANCE BOSS saying its his & his wife's absolute favourite a couple of years ago, I've personally not tried it BUT judging by what the boss said and yourself has just said I'm actually tempted to blind buy it, packaging wouldn't worry me as long as the contents are classy masculine and beautiful, I love classy woody based stuff. SHOULD I SAY WHAT THE HECK AND JUST GET IT.

I am really intrigued to smell this one now. There is a British house called beufort I would really love to see you check out one day all of their fragrances are really dark, and all my faves tend to be on the darker side of things

You must get a sample of Penhaligons "The Blazing Mr Sam", over the past few months i have exposed myself to 100+ fragrances and this was by by my favorite!!!!!!

I'm a bit surprised you never heard of this brand. They held a Royal Warrant at one point. Several British royalty do wear their stuff.

I must admit, Halfeti is different..in a good way. My only complaint is the sillage. Longevity lacks for me. I get maybe 2 hours of sillage before it just becomes a skin scent.

What is the longevity you get with this and do you smell any spices or smokiness at all during the dry down?

Someone should send him a sample of sartorial, extremely unique aromatic Fougere that uses honey and metallic notes. It is an absolute masterpiece in perfumery, being that he is from the UK and is a perfumer it’s a must try!

Please review THE BLAZING MISTER SAM by Penhaligons as well.

The bottle for me is just pure pure class, royal, timeless, dont forget they developed fragrance for princess DIANNA. SO keeping the originality, proper british old fashioned class@!

Aaron although I get your point regarding the bottle and styling I guess an understanding of the brand and it’s history then this clearly plays homage to its founder and the brands history from the 1870’s and it’s beginning which was a barber shop type fragrance of London. I guess each to there own but I like fact this brand clearly remembers and respects it’s history and it’s founders and personally like that and it’s very different, I’m late 40’s but again I get what you say would a 20 year old young man pick this up ? I guess he wouldn’t but again for me I like that about the brand and I do like the brand despite me being fairly new to them 👍

Really love this one. Projection is not its strength, but the sillage is ;)

I agree, it should have more projection, it's a bit timid, for that price I would lile to fill up the room with this smell but people have I have to smell it up close to know is there.

I love this scent and I also love the bottle. Simple and classy.

Halfeti is lovely. But Halfeti Leather is much better. Also try Oud de Nil by penhaligons. Love that one too.

Love Penhaligon’s. Tried this as a sample and it is divine. Unfortunately it’s way beyond what I would pay for a fragrance and due to its popularity it will never be on offer.

That's not actually true, Nick - it does appear on offer occassionally. Still not cheap, but I'm sure I saw the gift set (perfume and handwash) for £135 on their website a few months back. They run sales regularly.

So glad to find this house reviewed on this channel. Halfeti's flanker, Halfeti Cedar had been the fragrance i was looking for for at least a couple years. It took a while to start to figure my own fragrance identity. Only as summer approached did I look for something else. Until the fall comes Xerjoffs's Forty Knots is wrapping me in a comfortable dampish amber cloud but I will be back because Halfeti Cedar takes me to a place very dear, personal and timeless to me. Unless I find an ATH that has such comfortable status, mysteriousness and comfort. I am very hopeful and anxious to start trying some as they become available again after summer break.

Aaron, I know you value originality in fragrance creations, and that's why I want to let you know that Halfeti is a copy/derivative of 'Costume National pour Homme' released in 2009. Would be interested to see you review the original; it has recently been released in a parfum concentration.

Aaron you need to try Halfeti Leather better more rounded fragrance in my opinion!.

Absolutely love your reviews! Before I make a purchase I always hop on to your channel to get your input if you’ve covered the fragrance. On another note I’d be really interested to hear your review on a fragrance called Bal A Versailles which is a skanky, animalic classical scent. It’s a fragrance I have in my collection that I enjoy wearing in private, but wouldn’t dare to try out in public!

I love the old fashioned bottle, it needs to stand out from the designers.

Halfeti Cedar is even better. They know what they're doing! As far as modernity and high quality, that award goes to ATH. Hands fuckin down!!! Im wearing the new Santal Extremè today, btw. Damn, son!
