@@aileensings sorry but this song doesn’t exactly exalt the name of Jesus especially when “I” and “me” is used more then the name of Jesus. It’s just another quick song thrown together with a self image and self idolatry. So keep telling yourself that this song is for the Lords glory

Praise the Lord @@sethcravens2038 . I fully understand where you are coming from. Music has changed in our days, just as it has always evolved since the beginning. Where I changed my thoughts on that though, was when I spent a lot of time reading the book of Psalms. This book of Songs shows a perfect blend of songs: Songs magnifying God, songs of 'I' and 'me' and songs mixing both! May the Lord Jesus bless you.

@@jsn4him368 Greetings in Jesus name. You say in our days. I find that funny, I’ve been serving the Lord for a little over a year now, and I’m only 27. And I’m not downing this song, but “worship” style music has seemed to be more of a focus and it’s become more a problem, there almost seems to be more music and less preaching. And my brother or sister music can’t edify us like the word of God does. Have a blessed day and may the blessings of the Lord be upon you and your loved ones

“I” and “me” are the ones exalting the Lord, so when I’m praying I’m going to say I and me, because it’s MY relationship with God. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t exalt Him, I was born and raised in church and I’m 32.
