I love Baekhyun’s solo music (and now D.O. solo) in exo so I didn’t expect to really like Kai’s album because I usually prefer great vocalists for solos. But SM did an amazing job at making songs that fit his voice so well! No skips! I was so shocked at how much I liked his album.

Yeah, his solo is a masterpiece! And I am still not over it, while he is working on his second project.

The part where his legs to be pointed was mentioned for his spin... The problem could also be that Jongin has a permanently injured ankle and multiple ligaments... He has had surgery for it too

Kai getting appreciation is my aesthetics. And yes, off stage Jongin is very shy and sensitive. Even EXO leader said that.

The real person, Kim Jongin, is just about as different from his stage persona Kai as he could be. He’s really started coming out of his shell in the past year but he used to be almost painfully shy. He’s still goofy and sweet, but once the music starts, it’s all sex appeal and charisma. He’s often referred to as the ‘idol’s idol’ because you either admire him or you want to be him, or both. He works hard and he’s very focused. He also has perfect body proportions. And that face. And hair. It’s rather unfair, really.

There is something about Kai. I can't explain it. How can someone be that perfect?!

I’m really glad that he’s getting appreciation for the level of his craft. As someone who has seen a lot of modern dance performances and really loves to watch ballet, I really like that he brings that in, because it’s not super common in kpop. Someone else mentioned it, but he did mention he was not satisfied with the love shot performance, which may have been why he was looking down more. Also we know he’s a shy bean offstage so something must have rattled him to get him off his game onstage that day. So excited to see what he is bringing with the new album! You could show him the Gucci performance artist video, if you wanted suggestions. I love that one!

Fun fact...when he filmed Amnesia the temperature was close to freezing. And the pants he wore were actually close to 36 inches long. The stylist had to help him bunch them up so he could put on his shoes

Ha it’s never a chore with Kai!!

It's because he is in EXO. All of them are very talented and Kai is very sensitive so sometimes he does feel insecure. But thankfully they are all very supportive towards each other. When the main vocal (D.O) says he loves the tone of your voice the most, it gives one confidence to release the solo ♡ I just love EXO

This reaction was so much fun! I really love getting dancers and performers opinions and hearing their feedback on performers, especially my EXO boys! Kai IS dance. He doesn't do it, he lives it, breathes it, it is his very soul. One of my very favorite things about Kai is that he CANNOT stop himself from dancing/moving when he is supposed to be sitting or standing still. He has also stated that he doesn't have a role model in dance because he doesn't want to limit himself. After nearly ten years of performance, he feels he is just beginning to find his possibilities. actually kai said in a programme before that when recording dance practices he usually wears a hat because that allows him to look down to the floor and gives him more confidence. having followed him since his debut with exo i do believe that he's a very shy person and he finds his whole universe in dancing so i can totally understand why you got that impression of him that at times he was looking down.

I think the thing with him looking down in that fancam maybe due to center time of other members. Like, when someone else is singing and is in the center, others don't want to steal their time to shine and aren't making eye contact with the camera as intensely as when they themselves are in the center position

@@Koko3op basically they record at night/early morning to get it all edited and up for broadcast around 4-5 pm the same day, i think that’s the main reason but that’s intense 🥲 Kai said many times that he’s not an early bird and it’s always a struggle

Kai is everything!! I don't think he was looking down; he was more looking under his eyelids and indirectly at the camera which is what people do to convey sexiness.
