Great video explaining a general roof inspection! I also train my inspectors to measure the course layout and the course reveal of the shingles courses and overhang, and also make sure the shingles are cut up out of the valley by 2” when it’s an “open cut” valley type. In Oregon our roofs would require more ridge ventilation due to the amount of moisture vapor that passes through the attic in the winter and also counteract the extreme heat in the summer.

Good video. When possible, I prefer to put the ladder somewhere other than the front entry. That way, if you dent the shingles or gutter, it's not at the most visible part of the house. However, if it's a sketchy roof and I'm by myself, I like to put the ladder somewhere visible from the street so that if I fall off, a neighbor will see my fat broken body lying in the shrubs.

I wouldn't be surprised if y'all take a pic of it and blame it on the owner/seller! What's retarded is the home owner doesn't get a copy of the inspection and has to take the word and opinion of such ummmm... people of honor and integrity such as yourselves! Bwahaha! I can't wait till people come up with a intelligent, practical, and efficient purchasing process instead of the same retarded, broken, and assinine process that for no logical reason is still in place now! Probably right after they change the broken 2 party government hiarchy, racism(unless you're the actual racist demanding privaledged treatment because of your differences but only if it suits yourself), and homelessness (which i'm pretty sure is going to only continue to make historical lows now that to rent a small closet/box 2 times mymortgage Makes TOTAL MUUUUURRRRRRIIIIIICCCCCCCCAAAAAA???
