The rapping bit is INSANEEE in Rainy Days, it’s like his talking voice and it HITS DIFFERENT! I love both of these songs but Rainy Days really blew me away because of the production, how he sounds, and the general aesthetic of this kind of music! Love Me Again is so classy and stunning vocally! Overall I love that he went in an R&B direction for these songs, they suit hit voice so well!! 💜

Aw I loved your reaction, Jeff. I could tell how much you really enjoyed Taehyung/V’s first solo releases. You’re right, it’s so him, classy. The deep voice and the chill grown up sound so many of us have expected and have been waiting for is here. Funny how he gave us what we expected but still managed to surprise us with how good he sounds doing r&b/lowfi. I also agree with you saying he’s so artsy, the fashion, the set, the aesthetic, and of course his natural beauty and quirky yet elegant mannerisms add to the mood of the songs. Both MVs where recorded in Spain, like most Newjeans' MVs. Love Me Again in a Cave in Nerja, one of the most beautiful coastal cities of the south and Rainy Days in Madrid. The apartment from Rainy Days doesn't actually look like that 😅Nowadays, the penthouse where it was recorded is empty. It used to be a restaurant up to mid 80's and now it's being used as a set for some MVs and tv series. It's supposed to be turned into luxury apartments soon.🥲

Based on the first two releases and the track list, with Tae’s request that we should listen to the album in the order laid out, I’m wondering if Tae is conveying all the stages of a break up, you know like first moment when you can’t function or are reliving the same day, then blue = sadness, depression (laid out by Tae in Blue & Grey), then wanting the person back and can’t stop thinking about them (Love Me Again). Finally, either, moving on to remember the good times hence getting closure OR getting back together again (with the final two tracks). Love the reaction! Also, the puppy is actually Tae's dog Yeontan! There is a theory that the reason that the video has a lot of blues and yellows as the focal colors with the rest being dark is that those are the main colors that dogs see and he was trying to simulate the vision of his dog! I don't know if that has been confirmed or not, but it is a very cute possibility! I could be totally wrong, but he did ask us to listen to the album in order. Time will tell if there is a story. At the same time I can see him throwing a twist plot on my theory because that would be just like Tae. Lol 💜💜💜💜
